Stayed Sep 15, 2021The Apartment was very clean and tidy The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had a lovely tea/coffee area. The location was great! All of Portland peninsular was walkable. It was a 1 minute walk to the Eastern Promenade that had lots of food trucks, walking/bike trail and beautiful views of the water. Thanks Jennifer for contributing to our wonderful stay in Portland!

Stayed Nov 22, 2025This was a great stay and we are thankful to have been able to stay in a lovely home. It is just a few minutes walk to the waterside view or to a few local shops and restaurants embedded within the neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked with most things that I needed. I communicated with the host and she was very responsive and provided another item I needed in the kitchen. Communication with the host was very easy and prompt. There were plenty of towels/washcloths for the stay and all of what we needed was accommodated. Lots of signs throughout the house that explains how to operate some things, so this was a plus. No issues with the wifi. I was able to attend my class over zoom with no drops during that timeframe. The neighborhood felt extremely safe and neighbors all around seemed friendly. There were some very minors annoyances, but nothing detrimental. The bathroom is on the small side, but manageable. Shower and sink are in good working order. The neighbors upstairs seemed friendly but their steps could be heard as they walked around upstairs. Thankfully it quieted down some in the evening time, so its not a problem when trying to get some sleep. Some amenities had normal but noticeable wear and tear. The TV is very slow to respond to the input from the remote. There is a noticable lag with this. Overall, a great and pleasant stay. I am thankful for the opportunity to experience Portland.

Stayed Oct 9, 2025There are really only two beds, one of those being a daybed that has a pullout, and then multiple couches double as mattresses in other living spaces. It worked well for our family. We needed quick use of the dryer and the host responded immediately with the location and instructions. The neighborhood is great, the sunset at the top of the street that’s a short walk can’t be over exaggerated. Only negative is that it’s noisy if there are upstairs guests, but it’s a solid little spot.

Stayed Sep 9, 2025Loved the location, spacious interior, easy to enter with the codes. Parking was never a problem. Dining table was precarious. Once open the sides sloped so much, plates, bowls, cutlery slid down. The television is extremely slow to open or change programs; reception had extreme delay. It was nice to have access to Netflix.Jennifer was great about responding to our messages pre-stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025The location is fantastic right by the Eastern Prom and walking distance to many markets and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was clean and beds were very comfortable as was the living room to sit in. Only 2 concerns, the Wi-Fi was very slow and kept going off. Also the 1 bathroom is the size of a small closet. I think a large person would find the bathroom a challenge. All in all, a good space in a great location with an excellent host.

Stayed May 17, 2025This is an old-fashioned Victorian era building, with creaky narrow plank wood floors and an old-style kitchen and bath. The great news is that it has been tastefully updated to make it quite livable. The electrical sockets - normally always an issue in old houses -- have been nicely supplemented to allow for modern device hookups. And it is very clean and well cared for. It is also just up the hill a ways from the Prom, which makes for great strolling.

Stayed Dec 7, 2024We had a wonderful night in Portland! We spent the afternoon shopping in Freeport and arrived at the apartment around 5. Very easy finding parking on the street and no trouble getting inside. The apartment is absolutely adorable! Between the colors and decorations, it just gives off this girly, cozy vibe. There were 4 of us and we all had room to sleep comfortably. Wish we could have stayed another night!

Stayed Aug 11, 2024A group of 3 girls stayed at this charming apartment for 3 nights. We were able to walk to everything in downtown Portland using the promenade walkway which was very safe even after dark. Jennifer was a great host, even providing K cups for the Keurig. Allagash Brewery is 15 mins away by car and worth the visit. There are two other breweries at the same location as Allagash.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024Host was extremely reachable and contacted us to make sure our vacation is going well. She even installed extra window AC units just to make sure we were cool in the heat of the summer of July! Unit is very convenient to food trucks, kid parks, and the waterfront for a lovely stroll or run! There are people living upstairs but not a bother. The basement has a washer and dryer for use. The neighborhood is quaint but lovely and charming. If you like to be self sufficient but close to good restaurants, parks, and the water, this is the place to be. Finding parking when going out in Portland can be challenging.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Here is the corrected version of your text: --- We enjoyed our stay near the Eastern Promenade. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a 5-minute car ride from downtown. The apartment was spacious enough for all four of us—three adults and one child—to have our own bed. The sofa bed was comfortable, with an extra foam mattress topper. The queen bed was not as comfortable due to the edges being rounded. There was everything needed for making meals, and a large dining table for four people. The very small bathroom is older, as this is a heritage home, but it was very manageable. The space was very very clean. I enjoyed that the space did not smell of perfumey cleaners, as I react easily to strong scents. That said, there is a noticeable old house smell upon entering. Jennifer our host was attentive to our needs and quick to reply when we needed anything. There was ample parking. I recommend using Uber for going downtown, as parking is very expensive in Portland.
