Family Home in Rockport, ME, 5 minutes away from Camden, ME.

This unit is a quite location in the countryside, not too far from various popular coastal locations, i.e. Camden & Rockport. Its a good sized unit with comfortable and adequate facilities, very quiet. Would suggest adding a lighted address number at the street for those arriving late.

We were very happy with the accommodations. There were a couple of outlets with issues but we were supplied extension cords to use as needed. It all worked out. We felt right at home. Just what we needed for a couple of nights. Much better than a hotel! Will do again!

Rowena and Rusty are lovely hosts with a wonderful little private apartment on the bottom floor of their home. They are present in their main living quarters up a flight of stairs from the living room, but the unit is very private w no crossover. The amenities match their add and are easily accessible, and everything was clean and comfortable. They also leave a sweet little hand written note upon your arrival. Highly recommend!

Owners were very responsive and friendly. The home was very convenient to coastal cities, very comfortable bed and cozy living room. The kitchen has the basics and a small amount of cooking could be done. We were pleased with our stay

Cary clean, not to hot not to cold, Bed was awesome, shower wonderful, location good, i was able to do a load of laundry which always makes me happy when I travel. price great. I would use a little less scented laundry products just because i am a bit scent sensitive but it was not horrible. (WE STAYED IN A HOTEL OUR LAST NIGHT BEFORE FLYING OUT AND THAT WAS ALSO TOO MUCH SCENT FOR MY LIKING) We did not utilize the cooking facilities. I would definitely stay here again. We pretty much just slept here as we were out and about most of the time.

Rusty and Rowena have created a beautiful hideaway so near Camden and Rockport! It is located 1 mile from the Rockport diner ( yummy)! The apartment was furnished nicely and anything we needed was there. Highly recommend staying here!

Close to several little towns great to browse through.

The facility was as advertised. Plenty of room for a pleasant couples get away or weeks vacation. It was quiet, spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower is large with lots of hot water. Kitchen is small but has everything you need to make a meal. It’s as good as, if not better than any hotel room. Hosts provided all the touches you get in a first class hotel i.e. soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and even a lovely dish with some delicious chocolates. Within easy reach of local attractions. Would definitely stay there again if in that area and will recommend it to family and friends.

This place is exactly what we wanted- a homey feel. It is very convenient to all we wanted to do.

What an amazing place, Home away from home! We loved the place sooo much!!,you get to enjoy the entire downstairs with a huge bay window, lots of natural light, a big bathroom with washer and dryer and the rug in the bedroom feels brand new, so soft. I honestly don't know what the previous review about a smell was about, no smell at all, the only thing we smelt was the sweet eucalyptus smell from the dry leaves by the door. Rusty and Rowena are the best hosts, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I will definetely stay here again and would highly recommend it to everybody. Thanks again Rusty and Rowena for your hospitality.

This was such a wonderful space. It was actually larger than I thought it would be for some reason. There’s no oven, or cutting boards, but I had my own and cooked for myself almost every day with no stress. They left me coffee and water bottles. The shower is brand new and spacious. The bed is sagging a little, if you need to worry about such things, but otherwise very comfortable. All in all I loved it here and would absolutely come back.

I enjoyed my stay in this cozy nicely decorated rental. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Knox County attractions. The kitchen is rather small and cramped, however.

We could not stay at this property. It had an awful smell to it. We walked through the property, and then my wife said that it would not be possible to stay there due to the awful odor in it. There were freshener plug-ins for the smell, I suppose, but they did not help. We cannot say much about the property, other than the smell, although it did not appear to be very good shape.

The apartment was wonderful! The hospitality was wonderful! Located in a nice quiet neighborhood but not too far away from Route 1 and all of the surrounding towns. Thank you very much for the wonderful memories that were made!
