Live in a Comfortable Home, in Portland’s popular Munjoy Hill & Eastern Promenade area. Ideal for Family & Friends, a Special Occasion, Relaxing Getaway or Business. Portland's charm offers many markets, award winning restaurants & activities to choose from.

Shop The Old Port & Downtown Portland which are within walking distance. Freeport Outlets, LL Bean and The Maine Mall are a short drive away. Enjoy Portland's downtown art district and the waterfront walking trail which is just 2 minutes away. It's just a short drive to the coast with beautiful beaches & scenic lighthouses.

The apartment feels like home & maintains architectural features of the past. Both smaller and larger groups will love the spacious floor layout and we go above and beyond to provide you with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you need.
It has an updated eat-in kitchen, large separate dining room, spacious living room with flat screen tv, 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths. Wifi is included. Some additional notes:

1) Off street parking is available upon request. There is free street parking in the neighborhood that may be challenging to find during the busier summer months.
2) Our units sleep 6 in beds and up to 8 with an air mattress that we supply.
3) Because of increasing costs, we have an additional per person charge or guests that exceed 5 people. We do this because of the rising costs of laundry, utilities and general wear and tear.

We look forward to you booking with us and thank you for your time in considering our property for your stay!

Nick was a wonderful and accommodating host. We loved our stay at the house; beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for spending time together on the couch and in the kitchen and dining room. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable place to land after a fun day exploring all that Portland has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Portland. The property is a short walk to the most beautiful views on the Eastern Promenade! Very convenient to all places we visited and the host was great to communicate with. It's a very charming place and would definitely stay there again!

Set in a urban-quiet neighborhood. Nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. Can walk to Old Port area (about 20 -25 minutes).Parking was OK on-street - usually not right in front of house, but we found spots without too much trouble/too far away (may be different in summer/winter).Beds were comfortable, baths OK. It's an older building, this is a middle unit in a 3 decker, so if you're looking for all-modern no-neighbor housing, probably not it. That said, no issues with noise that interrupted sleeping. We had a minor maintenance issue and Nick addressed it immediately. He's professional and responsive.Bottom line, would stay here again for a Portland visit. Good neighborhood, close to downtown without the hassles and some interesting features of its own.

We had a wonderful stay in this Munjoy Hill apartment. The space appears to have been recently painted and tastefully decorated without destroying the integrity of the age of the house. Suggestions for Nicholas would include add hooks for robes and towels, more hangers, and declutter the closets. Replacing the old stove would probably also be a good idea as I’m not sure the burners really work properly. Overall, we had a lovely time in this space.

We really enjoyed our stay on Munjoy Hill. The location couldn't be better - able to walk to restaurants, Eastern Promenade, the beach, and Old Port, right from the apartment. The apartment itself worked well for our intergenerational family trip - with comfortable seating, a full dining room, three bedrooms (two with window air conditioning units), a well-stocked kitchen, and two full baths. We appreciate that Nick was quickly responsive when we needed him to arrange for a plumber during our stay, too.

The home is charming. As others mentioned, it could use a refresh of paint, cleaning of the fabric barstool seats, better toilet paper, and hooks to hang bath towels. The owner is great at communicating and quick to respond. The location is within walking distance to a lot of amazing sites, but parking nearby can be an issue. Definitely reserve the driveway if you have the option/ability. It's not clear from the listing, but it is a second floor apartment/condo, requiring you to huff suitcases up a narrow staircase. Keep that in mind if you have physical limitations. Also, there are 3rd floor occupants, whose footsteps can be (loudly) heard.

Perfect location for a couples getaway - walkable to everything, easy to access and very spacious. The place was clean and tidy. Arranging for off-street parking at the last minute was easy and painless. There aren't any accoutrements (like coffee, milk, etc.) as was listed in the posting, but most places don't have those things anyway. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a second floor apartment with shared stairs to the third floor apartment. The young people above us were respectful but we definitely heard tramping up and down the stairs, music and voices. Living room very comfortable. The kitchen is better for reheating food rather than cooking. Some left over spices but no salt or pepper and random pots, etc. Only 5 forks and 3 wine glasses (1 was black- yuck). The mattresses are tired but the sheets clean. No towel bars in either bathroom. The bathroom between the front 2 bedrooms is a footed tub with a shower curtain. Shower in there at your own risk as any pressure on the shower curtain will bring it down. I did not receive any check in instructions from VRBO but the contact manager was quickly responsive to my request. Not the best place for us but it was clean and safe.

We had a great time at Nick's apartment, it is spaceous and tastefully furnished. We were able to feel right at home and used the kitchen every day, the dining room had space for all of us which made for some great holiday meals together. The location is nearly unbeatable with just two blocks to the promenade by the water and a short walk to downtown. Congress Street, which is 50 yards from the front door, has a really cool vibe with bars, cafes and restaurants. Yet, you are clearly nestled in a residential area. I feel that in this location you really get the best of Portland, no matter what time of the year.

Nick was helpful getting us into our place as we were a little confused on the directions. The apartment looked cleaner in pictures. It just needs a little TLC, aka touch-up the white paint. It reminded me of my college housing. Shower curtains need to be washed as well with mold growing at the bottom of them. Little hickup with parking as well. Don't park in the drive for even a short bit. Another family got mad at Nick for us parking there. I tried to make it right and paid for the parking. Nick wanted what the other family weren't going to pay, which was for two cars. I felt paying for two cars was a little extreme. Had we paid for the parking up front, he would have still lost the other family as the directions in the packet advise the parking is first come first serve.

Comfortable and very clean with 2 baths and a stackable washer/ dryer. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. A great stay!

Great location! Can walk to so many places from this spot. The observatory, East Promenade beach and food trucks and Old Port are all in walking distance. We also didn’t have an issue finding parking either. The unit was perfect for our family of five. We’d stay here again the next time we’re in Portland!
