    The worst experience I have ever had. There is constant thumping noise of people walking from the flat above. The back alley has a dumpster so you can get woken up in the middle of the night with clanging sounds of bottles being dumped. The front road is loud as you can hear people yelling, walking from the bars. The bathroom is tiny, no place to hang your towel. The apartment is cluttered with tacky artifacts on tables and shelves, no place to keep your things. The Kitchen ware is not enough We requested an earlier checkout which was denied as disturbed sleep and uncomfortable stay was not a good enough reason. VRBO has really disappointed us!

    Thistle Street was an amazing Apartment! Within walking distance to most locations & a cool historic building. Furnishings were period appropriate with class & charm. The only issue we had was getting a hot shower since the water turned ice cold after just a few minutes.

    The location was great and the flat was comfortable. However there were small things that let it down from being a luxury as it was described. Such as not being able to get tv to work due to poor instructions and flat batteries in remote. Having a broken desire light. The shower was barely warm. The toaster had a broken handle and the was chipped crockery. The property is also managed by a corporate in Portugal that made communication difficult. One other observations is the ‘luxury’ lounge in the photo is not the lounge in the unit, it is a plainer one. If these things had been ‘right’ it would have been amazing.

    Fab flat in lovely street with bars, restaurants and great coffee shop opposite. Quiet, very central for main attractions. The flat was comfortable snd clean, kitchen with plenty of crockery and cooking implements if required. Tiny bathroom but all you need and it was very clean. Comfy bed with good linen. Great place to stay.
