    It was a great, clean comfortable place to stay. Though it was not a huge issue, the one thing that could be an issue for some, the one bedroom is on the front of the unit and is right next to the sidewalk. On Friday evening, Halloween, the street noise was fairly loud in that front bedroom.

    Overall very nice place . As I arrived, I was first worried about the overall neighborhood. Then after going in the unit I was happy. The proximity to the food and beverage scene was amazing. I was staying with my brother. He thought the place was perfect. The location is fantastic. We then found by walking the neighborhood had a lot to offer. More restaurants tucked away in the quaint neighborhood. The Downtown Social was 1st place we visited and from the roof deck we could see our house. We were very pleased with the Rooms and the courtyard was a bonus for morning coffee and late night wine. I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

    Our stay here was overall very good. The space was very clean and organized and it provided almost everything we needed! This place does not have a water dispenser or a Brita water filter, so I recommend bringing bottle waters or picking some up on the way! Our host was quick to respond with any questions we had and the location was perfect. Beautiful place, I will definitely be returning:)

    I joined my 16 year old daughter and her friend for a quick Charleston getaway prior to school starting for the new year. The property was just as advertised with everything we needed for two nights. We enjoyed walking to several local coffee/b-fast places, and the location just off King Street made it super convenient for shopping and bumping around. If you're headed downtown to East Bay street, you can count on about a 30 minute walk. We'd welcome an opportunity to come back in the future.

    Set up with bathrooms was a little odd but it was fine. A little street noise but not bad. Parking a huge plus. Easy $10 Uber to wherever you want to go.

    Loved, loved, loved our stay at Guesthouse Charleston East 42 A! This property was so incredible and perfect for our trip with 2 mother/daughter duos . Charming property, beautifully decorated, clean, great location and within walking distance to dining & shopping, easy check-in, responsive communication with property management, just overall perfect. Can't wait to return and stay here!
