Welcome to Wando House! Our stylish 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom haven is in the heart of downtown Charleston and is just steps to the Bars and Restaurants on Kings Street! This charming home is perfect for groups looking to experience the best of Charleston's vibrant nightlife, with trendy bars, restaurants, and entertainment just steps away! While you’ll love the convenience of being so close to the action, please note there may be occasional city noise, especially during weekends. Enjoy a memorable stay in Charleston, surrounded by the energy of downtown!



The Space:

This two-story beauty features a Queen bedroom on the first floor with a walk-in closet and adjoining bath. The second floor offers a light-filled Main bedroom with a Smart TV, balcony, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom. Another Queen bedroom with ensuite anchors the other end of the second floor. The living area is flexible, with a sofabed and Smart TV, flowing into a sleek kitchen with high-end finishes such as custom cabinetry, gas stove, and quartz countertops. Washer/dryer is located on the first floor.



Private parking, and a sitting garden complete the allure. Wando House is half a block off of King Street.

Guest Access:

Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!

You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:



The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Please Note: There is ongoing city and corporate construction nearby. This is an external project not associated with Curated Vacation Properties. While it’s outside our control, we want guests to be aware that there may be some noise or activity in the area due to its close proximity to the home.



Pets are NOT Allowed:

As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee.



This is a 100% smoke-free property.

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.



Luggage Drop-Off:

We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service.

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.

⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.



‍ To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.

Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.



We do not control neighboring properties and cannot offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with external factors.



We do not provide refunds for utility outages or service interruptions that are outside of our control.



❄️ Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and since many are older, severe cold snaps may affect both water temperature and indoor heating.



If damage or excessive cleaning is required after checkout, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee equivalent to a full cleaning.

Hurricane Policy / Extenuating Circumstances:

⭐️ If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.

    If you are looking for a quiet location to relax, this is not the place. The music on the rooftop deck right next-door is extremely loud. They do have sound machines in the bedrooms, which is very nice. But the noise goes on till 2 AM every night. The home was beautiful. It was very spacious and there’s a cute little grassy spot outside to read and relax.

    The location was great and the set up of the rooms and bathrooms was very convenient. The noise from the bar behind the master room is quite loud due to the throwing of kegs and trash, but if you are not a light sleeper, you will be fine.

    Property is next door to a large construction site. Pylons are being driven into the ground from sunrise to sunset. The noise is awful. Cute house.

    We had a beautiful time in Charleston. The property was super clean and beautiful. Had a couple questions throughout our stay and the staff was quick to get back to us. The beds and pillows were prob my favorite of this property. So so comfortable. Location was perfect but I will say it could be noisy at times. We will def be back in the future!

    Loved the location, the manager was very responsive with the one little issue. I would say the kitchen could use a few more dishes. Also I could never get the masterbedroom TV to work. All in all still loved the place.

    House was in a great location. Steps to King Street and Uptown Social which was our favorite place to hang while into for a wedding. House was clean and had everything we needed. Host responded quickly and was even able to let us check in a few hours early. Only complaint was the WiFi. Not a huge deal but we were unable to connect to the internet for the most part. It was very spotty. Other than that place was perfect.

    We really enjoyed staying here!! The location is so perfect- literally steps from king street and all local shops and restaurants. We had a small WiFi issue, but hosts were super responsive and on top of it. Only downfall about this location is that there is a bar with loud music at night time for a few hours. We have 2 small kids so we didn’t expect that. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!

    The property was lovely, bright and clean. Easy walk all over downtown. It can be noisy (out of properties control) and they provide white noise machines in each bedroom, use them.

    We were 3 couples traveling together for Sewe. The layout of this house was perfect. we loved the location and how easy it was to get around. the property manager was incredibly responsive to any questions. two things that I think future visitors should know….. water pressure is not good and the most popular night club (Uptown Social) in town is right outside the window with music and partying until about 2am. It was almost impossible to sleep for 3 nights while we were there for the couple in the master (front) bedroom. Otherwise- Everything waa perfect!

    it was a nice spot, but they had a snowstorm and there were not shovels at the property to clear the steps/ driveway. Overall a great experience and I recognize they dont get snow there often.

    This was a very nice place and so convenient to everything we wanted to do for a long weekend stay with no rental car. However, the music from the local bars rooftop music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night was VERY loud and all the bedroom face the bar so there is no getting around it. It does end around 11:00 but understated in the description.

    The house is beautifully decorated and has a high end kitchen. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a bathroom and huge closet. All of the workmanship is top quality. The location off of King is great to walk to food and shops. The only caveat is the house is behind a very active night club. Each room has a sound machine and I had ear plugs, so I slept well in the comfortable bed. There are plenty of towels and blankets provided. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Great house, clean, lovely towels, and nice amenities, including a refrigerator that dispenses crushed ice, cubed ice, and water. Unfortunately, it is too close to a bar with an outdoor deck that plays loud music some nights until 11pm. After that they clean up the deck, take out the trash and generally make noise until well after they close at 2am. Then the morning crew comes in early to power wash the deck around 7am. The washing machine needs to be cleaned, and would generally smell better if the door could be propped open when not in use. Management was very responsive, kind, and sympathetic to our issues, even (maybe especially) when we considered relocating. If you don't mind the noise, it's a lovely place with easy access to King Street.

    Would recommend. Very clean, close to shopping on Kings street. They only complaint was the club right behind did have loud music until 2am, but we stayed Monday-Friday so only Thursday was loud.
