Downtown Carriage House | 1 BR close to Downtown

We loved the carriage house, great location quiet neighborhood close to everything. We would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting Charlottesville.

We enjoyed our stay at the downtown carriage house! It was in a great location to downtown restaurants and bars. We didn't walk from the property to downtown but it is definitely possible! And ubers/lyfts are very easy to get quickly in that location. Otherwise, the property was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Great location for walking to The Mall and local shops and breweries, very close to UVA and Monticello. Very clean, ample space, with modern amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful space to say and so conveniently located for all of our Charlottesville activities! I just wish we had more time to use the beautiful balcony!

Staying at the Carriage House was enjoyable. Walkable distance to many different food places. Fairly easy drive to other areas. Would definitely stay again!

Very quiet! Very Clean - outside could use some TLC. Neighborhood somewhat challenging for walking the dog. steep driveway would be tough in winter.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Carriage House. The property is centrally located and easy to walk to the Art Park, downtown shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend for a weekend stay in Charlottesville.

Quiet area. Lovely modern apartment. Comfortable firm bed. Comfortable seating with pillows and plush towels were much appreciated. There are indoor stairs to access apartment over the garage. Easy to manage. Peaceful outdoor space but need to bring in cushions inside which I didn’t think of. Unfortunately I could not enjoy after it rained. Owner might consider a storage container for them. Enjoyed my stay. Will book again!

Perfect place for our group of four. We were there for a long weekend and they had everything we needed for a quick and easy stay.

This was a great spot for my family and me. Cute, comfortable, and had what we needed. It is easy to get in and feels private and calm. One thing to note, the listing is actually through Stay Charlottesville, which means that communications come to email instead of the VRBO app. This just adds another step so I would recommend that the hosts send the info through the App as well. Much easier than searching emails for door codes and details. The dishes were also clean in the dishwasher when we arrived and there was a broken glass in the dishwasher. This was annoying to have to deal with when we first arrived but that was the only thing! Everything else was great and I would highly recommend!

No noises at all. Very comfortable bed and seating area. Nice shower! Plenty of space and nicely decorated. Easy parking.

Great Quite getaway near down town

Nice property, very clean, everything was as advertised. We only had one issue. On the morning of checkout we realized the dishwasher did not work. It's possible there was something quirky about it and we didn't jiggle the handle in the proper way but we just hand washed the dishes we had used, no big deal but the owner will want to check this out. Other than that one small issue, everything was fine. We would stay here again!

Top floor of “carriage/garage “ structure. Well laid out. Central location. Do need to bring any and all food items such as coffee, etc. garage parking slot provided (great in rainy weather)

This property is above a garage in an old neighborhood…the property was very dirty with dust and cobwebs and the kitchen stove top was grimy! The kitchen lacked proper cooking utensils and the pots and pans were extremely old…the cabinets need updating and cleaned! The bathroom was clean but the floor was not and the living room needed a good vacuuming and dusted! The area was old and run down but close to the historical sites! These pictures are very deceiving and we will not be returning! If ppl pay attention to detail then I believe this place has a lot of potential…we will not be returning!

We stayed at this location due to one of us having a brief hospital stay. It proved to be convenient to all of our needs.

Place worked put very nicely and we booked the same place for another trip. One suggestion. Place needs a broomand a frying pan. Other than that place was super.

Sweet apartment tucked into the woods. Kitchen and bathroom recently renovated. I would definitely stay again.
