Delightful Garden Casita with Private Terrace on a Beautiful Sandy Beach

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Contenta. We stayed in a very comfortable, well supplied ground level casita. As with other units, the casita is decorated Mexican style which added to our enjoyment. The gardens are lovely, location is right on the beach ( close to jungle trails) with ample chairs, umbrellas, and other beach gear! Best of all, Lin and Jim ( and the other guests) are very welcoming and we were invited to 2 gatherings in 5 days. Thanks again for your gracious hospitality.

Lin and Jim are friendly and so helpful. Their gorgeous home and suites are located right on a beautiful white sand beach. The sun was out every day. The water was clear warm and silky. This is the perfect vacation place if you just want to wind down and relax.

very uncomfortable. no AC, floor fan doesn't turn. restroom/shower is super tiny. front house block the whole breeze and sound of waves.

this is a lovely Casa, beautiful sculptures and tiles everywhere. Lin and Jim are very gracious hosts and most helpful in navigating the area. we stayed in the casita studio which is a beautiful room, full of whimsy. the beach is beautiful, the ocean is calm, many restaurants on the beach. Great location. Will be returning next year. highly recommend.

Casa Contenta is a perfectly located beach-front property on the quiet southern end of Los Ayala. We found our Garden Casita was just as advertised, and we couldn't have been happier! We often enjoyed our morning coffee on the lawn overlooking the beach, when not sitting at our private garden terrace. Our 10-day stay flew by and we were sad to leave. A lovely place to stay!

Beautiful multi unit homes with loving artistic touches everywhere you look. Linda and Jim where fantastic hosts and looked after any questions or issues immediately. Located right on the beach, the property is safe and secure, and is kept very well maintained and clean. They did have a couple of dogs that were being sheltered until new homes could be found for them. They were occasionally a little noisy but not a big deal. It was very peaceful and pleasant to stay there and we would definitely consider returning.

We were in the Casita for one delightful month (November), and during this time there were few other guests. It felt as though we were in a private club. The development of the property is a delight. The co-ordination, decor and finishing touches are eclectic and quirky, but very effective.This is truly a unique and ideal holiday spot. Samuel and Marisella were extremly helpful and accomodating . I apologize for torturing them with my fractured Spanish. I would highly recommend Casa Contenta to anyone looking for a quiet and restful stay on the beach. The only minor negative comment I have is that the WiFi needs upgrading somehow. Service has limited coverage throughout the property and is sometimes sporadic Overall, a pleasurable experience, and I hope to return.

I am a B&B owner in Mexico so I apprecoated all the little touches here: wonderful linens fresh water ultra clean good ventilation good bed hot water friendly staff good wifi beautifully decorated only downside, some long rocky blocks to walk to centro highly recommended
