Stayed Aug 18, 2020The apartment's large windows and Italian shutters permit a refreshing flow of air throughout, and from the kitchen/living area there are beautiful mountain views. Tastefully renovated, the apartment is equipped with a modern bathroom, a large comfortable bed, and a convertible sofa if need be. Our host Alessandro promptly answered each of our questions. We wanted exercise, so the location rather high up in the charming medieval village of twisting maze-line alleys was OK. But this would be a problem for anyone who is physically challenged, which is why we didn't give the location rating a 5. Wonderful hiking and the delightful village of Dolceacqua nearby, with the Mediterranean only half an hour away. There is a Michelin restaurant just 1 km from the apartment and other good restaurants and grocery stores in the village. This is a fantastic getawat for anyone desirous of comfort, exercise, good food, and beauty!
