Cozy apartment in downtown Suttons Bay. Short walk to beach.

Host was accommodating due to changes we had to make because of winter weather. Upper cottage has beautiful views, great location and perfect for two people. Would recommend and stay again!

When we arrived the space had not been cleaned but the manager immediately responded and sent a housekeeper. The kitchen was well stocked and bed very comfortable. We highly recommend!

Lots of small things stopped working during our visit, eg smoke alarm, hair dryer, coffee pot etc., most of which were replaced by helpful VUN staff.

Location could not be beat - right behind library, beach & marina! Easy check in & info from manager made locating it easy. Short walk to shops, restaurants & right on the beautiful Tart trail for bike riding!But the apartment is pretty dated: rusty porch furniture, squidgy carpet, hard water stained bathroom & really gives the feeling of staying in someone else’s home - especially as the stairs to main floor are semi-open with a doggy gate & fake plant sitting on the stairwell & a hollow core door added halfway down that lets all noise from downstairs float up…We were happy for the spot on the Leelenau peninsula that we love & visit often, but will be looking to stay somewhere else in the future.

It offers beautiful sunrises from a lovely bay view and is walking distance to everything in town. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen fairly well equipped. Music from the patio restaurant next door was a little noisy but if you want solitude, don't rent in town. Don't miss Chimoski's Bakery just down the street.

Location is a short walk to most of the shops and restaurants in Sutton's Bay, making driving optional for exploring the town. In-unit washer/dryer allows for lighter packing if you are up for a load of laundry mid-week :-)

Improvements could be made in cleanliness of the bathroom as a well as the slow draining sink.The toilet needed scouring and a smelly plunger was left in there uncovered. The coffee pot needs to be cleaned or replaced as it takes about 20min to finish perculating. The property managers were awesome.

Ideal location if you enjoy being in the heart of Suttons Bay. You will hear music and conversations from the restaurant next door, traffic on the road and people staying below you but it all adds to the atmosphere. The cottage was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated the new patio furniture.

Clean. Spitting distance to shops, restaurants, beach and marina. Downside-upper apartment not for people who have trouble managing stairs, or climbing into a high bed.

It was very enjoyable until it got warm. No air conditioning and did not cool down enough for a restful nights sleep. Also, close to main street with much traffic in the mornings. And very minimal on supplies provided.
