Stayed Nov 2, 2023We stayed in a two bedroom cottage. Clean, warm, quite easy to find. Communication with property manager was good. Be aware that not all the appliances you need are in the cottage - there is a shared area where an oven and a washing machine are available. Also as you can see on the map this property is outside of the town so everything is a drive. Overall, a good location if you need to get pretty much anywhere in southwest Netherlands. Schiphol is an easy drive.

Stayed Apr 28, 2023We spent with three person a very nice long weekend in Alphen. The appartement is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and the terrace is a dream, right on the canal. The location is ideal for cycling or walking an you are quickly in Den Haag, Rotterdam etc. The contact with the landlady was very nice and we will definitely cone back again.

Stayed Jul 6, 2022We had a wonderful time at this accommodation. It was very clean and comfortable with every modern convenience. The location was amazing. Kids loved being on a farm and seeing all kinds of animals and birds. Lots of trails nearby yet close to the highway for easy access to many cities and towns. Also, lots to do in Alphen a/d Rijn. We had an amazing stay. Thank you, Petra!

Stayed Apr 7, 2019Very clean, comfortable and well kept apartment with plenty of space. Kitchen is small but was sufficient for our needs. Beds were extremely comfortable. Beautiful outlook over the canal to fields of alpacas, horses, goats and sheep with long distance views of ships on canals. Very accessible for motorways to visit Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Apr 23, 2018This hidden gem provided nothing less than a magical experience in all aspects. It was absolutely immaculate, we thought we were the first to stay in new construction. Our view across the canal opened to a lush, green meadow with each morning resulting in a new birth of baby lambs, whose theatrical antics were quite entertaining. The hostess went out of her away to provide updated amenities, including a patio set for outdoor dining, window boxes with fresh flowers, plenty of hot water and extra towels and toilet paper. Extremely quiet with a second story/bedroom that provided privacy. With a car, you have excellent access to the autoways to go anywhere in the country, only minutes from the local town. With owner on site she responded to all questions/needs quickly. Attention to detail welcomed us home every night with twinkling lights intertwined on the deck railing bordering the canal. We have traveled to many countries, often renting a variety of dwellings, and for the price, this by far outshines them all. Highly recommended to couples or families who hope to avoid city chaos.

Stayed Feb 3, 2018We stayed for four nights in an apartment next to the farmhouse. Mrs Harting met us and showed us how everything worked and we cooked four wonderful evening meals there. She was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. The apartment had every modern convenience you could want. It is a short walk to an interesting open air history museum called Archeon. It is quite a long walk to the nearest shop in Alphen but it is through a lovely park full of canals, bridges ducks swans etc
