Cortez Casita w/ Hot Tub at Bella Vista Ranch

It's an amazing location and property!! We enjoyed our opportunity to stay and explore the surroundings of Cortez. We can't wait to make a return trip and continue to take in the exhilarating views and interesting shops.

Awesome place to stay while in Cortez or visiting Mesa Verde NP. Easy check in and the home was so cozy. The bed was definitely a 10/10. It was great having our own patio, hot tub, bbq and fire pit. It was very peaceful and quiet and wish I could have stayed longer! The property itself was just beautiful! Definitely recommend staying here!

Chose this Casita for it’s location near Mesa Verde NP. The property was serene with stunning landscaping with flavors of Italian countryside. Perfect views of the surrounding area, on-site sheep herd and working livestock guard dogs. Bedroom area was spacious but I would caution that the stairs are not easy! Comfortable bed. The casita is a tiny house; well done, clean and new. Overall wonderful!

This was close to Mesa Verde which was wonderful -others also checked out the four corners but we did not. Stayed here for the sheep and we were not disappointed. Lovely house, great stargazing, owners were responsive and nice. The stairs up to the bed are the only part I would caution people on if they have to use the bathroom at night but there are hand rails and non slip footings which make it easier

If we could give 10 stars we would. This home is very clean and all the kitchen supplies are in new / excellent condition. Bed is very comfortable. Everything you could possibly need or want has been supplied. The property is very private and peaceful. The outdoor seating area is very cozy and you get to watch cute sheep in the field. We highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute casita. The location was perfect for visiting Mesa Verde National Park and the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. We also visited the 4 Corners Monument and Shiprock, New Mexico. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The location is quiet and the scenery was spectacular to watch the sunset. Watching the adorable sheep was an added bonus. Although we did not use the barbeque grill during our stay, it was a nice to have that option. Would highly recommend staying on this serene sheep ranch.

It was an amazing place, tranquil, quiet, private, and convenient. It was exactly as advertised. The steps to the bedroom were also as advertised. They were, as they said, steep, but the owners did everything they could to ensure our safety, and the bed was so comfy with great views. The hot tub was a welcome sight after a long drive, and watching the sheep run through the sprinkler was both entertaining and very sweet. We hope to come back soon.

Our stay was wonderful despite all the rain. The casita was cozy and well stocked. Our hosts were great at communicating check in and directions. The bed was very comfy. We recommend walking backwards and treating the stairs like a ladder when you come down. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Our stay was serene and just what we needed. We look forward to staying again when we next visit the area. Thank you!

We loved the property other than the steep stairs. But the location was perfect! Very peaceful

Would highly recommend this for a young couple, since it has some steep stairs. The space was clean and beautiful. It has everything you need and the hot tub was amazing. While the owners live on the property, we never felt bothered by them. The sheep are very cute!!! Overall, a great experience.
