Stayed Jan 24, 2026This apartment is a hidden gem! Perched high above the city, it has wonderful views from the balcony - which is a great place to watch the sun rise. Further up the hill, there are even more stunning views. This apartment is close to the Pemberton steps, which are lovely and include wonderful views as well, and not too far of a walk from Tank Hill Park, which is an amazing place to view the span of the city from the Pacific Ocean shoreline to the eastern part of the bay.A little less than a mile downhill is the Castro, an awesome neighborhood with cute shops and a great personality. It also includes the starting point of the F Train and a stop on the Muni Metro, which can get you to all parts of the city. We often walked down there, but you can also catch a bus, which stops nearly in front of the apartment. There are two primary buses that come through that area, and transfers to other buses or the underground are quite easy. The apartment itself is adorable. The owner studied art history, and it shows - so many interesting items of decor and books on art. The kitchen includes pretty much any cooking item or appliance you could possibly need, including a huge number of ice cube trays for people like me who are obsessed with keeping drinks cold. The bedroom is roomy with great closet space, and the bathroom even includes a bidet. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting San Francisco. Next time we visit, we'll be sure to book it again.

Stayed Dec 5, 2020Mari’s Casa Corbett was a very welcoming place for me while I worked in San Francisco for 6 months. My son joined me for the last months. This is a perfect place for anyone working long term. It was the perfect size for me with a private and separate bedroom. The mattress is the most comfortable bed! The surrounding balcony and courtyard are tastefully decorated. Mari responded to all my needs and provided sanitation when coming in to make necessary repairs. She puts a lot of thought into hosting and left a generous package of staples upon my arrival. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for short or long term stays. It is centrally located in the city, so most neighborhoods are within walking distance. Parking is always available. A very comfy stay!

Stayed Oct 13, 2020The apartment is spacious and was extremely clean on my arrival. Mari left a good selection of staples and complimentary wine which was much appreciated. She was very responsive when I requested a drip coffee maker. The king bed is super comfortable and makes it relaxing for me as I work as essential worker this year. I had everything I needed. The apartment is good for long term stays and there is room to relax. The location is good. Close to Cole Valley, Castro and Haight Ashbury. Within walking distance to UCSF. However, the porch would be more enjoyable if the noise from Market St wasn’t so loud. The bedroom faces a side street so it is quiet. Overall, a relaxing place for my extended stay. I extended my reservation so yes I would stay here again.
