Stayed Aug 11, 2018A practical property and quiet. Excellent bedroom accommodation for our group of 6 adults and 2 children, though it was felt that the downstairs double bed needs a new mattress. All the pillows were tired and lumpy. The small kitchen was fine apart from the fridge which was completely inadequate for an 8-person house; the freezer compartment had lost its door and was all frosted up and at least one of the shelves in the fridge door was missing. The filter of the tumble drier had not been cleaned for ages and was full of unpleasant felted material; the same applied to the vacuum cleaner which was so full of fluff that it would not suck at all. We had a wonderful week and enjoyed the property and its location, but it would be even better with a bit more attention to detail and cleanliness.
