Charming Custom Carriage House on 40 Acres! Only 5 minutes to Beaufort's Bay St.

My wife and I recently stayed at the absolutely delightful property. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Beaufort, SC, area. This is the first VRBO/AB&B listed property we’ve rented that exceeded what was promised in the listing. If you’re looking for a quiet,convenient, comfortable and picturesque vacation rental; this is it! Thanks to our hosts, Chris and Lori for providing such a nice property that added to the enjoyment of our visit to this area of South Carolina.

Very friendly host. We are hoping to return again. Great atmosphere here in St. Helena. It was quiet and clean. A good night sleep after a long day of fishing.

This was absolutely the best property and hostess i have been to! Very clean and modern! The level of providing an exceptional stay by the host was phenomenal. Minutes from anywhere you want to go and yet provided a sense of privacy you dont get at many places. We even were able to get pics of deer at the pond right outside our window. Definitely will be returning!

This lovely place is quiet and off the road, yet access to Beaufort, Parris Island , Hunting Beach is within easy driving. The proprietors have thoughtfully provided amenities , even bottled water! We were most impressed with this lovely

This is an A VRBO! It is a garage apartment that is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had a very nice kitchen that was perfect with a microwave, kitchen sink, and small refrigerator. The location is very convenient between Beaufort and the Sea Islands. Our host was very attentive and we will definitely return!

Everything was perfect for our mini vacation to just get away for a few days. It was very peaceful especially watching the deer and other wildlife that visited the lake. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. This was our second time staying there and we enjoyed every second both times.

The entire place was absolutely perfect in every way. I can’t think of a single thing that could be improved upon. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is an 11.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely carriage house. It was professionally decorated, very comfortable, and clean. We have stayed here several time and we hope to go back again. It is close to Beaufort SC and Fripp Island SC which were our destinations. We always enjoy our stay at Birdfoot!

Comfortable, clean, very nice furnishings, all kitchen and bathroom necessities provided, beautiful view overlooking pond and fountain, away from heavy traffic but convenient for driving to Beaufort and Port Royal. There was no need to contact our hosts but they were right next door if we had needed them.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful carriage house during a recent wedding weekend. It was perfect for the two of us—very clean, modern, and thoughtfully decorated. The tall ceilings made the space feel open and airy, and the layout was just right for a couple. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay!

The house is very nice! Great location. Only thing is it’s not really a kitchenette. No stove or grill. Has a tiny fridge and a microwave. Not really any way to cook anything. Next time we will bring a skillet or hot plate to cook breakfast. We ate out for dinner, so not a problem for that.

Nice clean open space. Easy check in and check out. Only note is that it’s off a dirt road which I wasn’t exactly expecting, just wish there was a note somewhere on the listing about that. Would stay again!

Loved this quaint Carriage house for a Wedding Guest Weekend on St Helena Island! It was close enough to Beaufort for shopping, but only minutes from the venue and Dataw Island where I hosted a luncheon. The amenities were great, and the property was beautiful! We would stay again!!
