Escape to this lovely apartment in picturesque Tiverton Four Corners. This apartment is on the second floor of a historic 1840 building located right in the center of the village, the first floor houses an independent bookstore called The Yellow House. We also have a newly opened cafe/bar located within the bookshop. The shop/bar is open from 11am-8pm Wed - Saturday and 11-4pm Sunday. We are open 7 days a week during the summer months (June - September).

Stayed Jun 20, 2025This historic property is delightful in every way. The apartment itself is in pristine condition, has artistic touches and a minimalist feel. I especially liked the gleaming, wide board pine floors and many windows. The bed and other furnishings are very comfortable. The owners are close by, kind and full of helpful tips. The bookstore downstairs was an initial attraction and is truly a treat for the serious reader. Both a cafe and grille are right across the street. We stayed two nights for a wedding in Middletown (near Newport). The easy 23 minute drive over and back was worth the extra travel time over a property closer to the wedding venue as this space is very special.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025Clean. Great location and everything you could need to be comfortable. The stairs could be an issue as they are narrow and steep. The host did refer with a photo which looked doable. However, they were a challenge when bringing luggage up. Otherwise a 5star.
