Charming Apartment on Abercorn- Off Street Parking Included!

Great location but the king size bed was so loud and uncomfortable we barely slept. Parking was difficult to find at first and had to call for check in instructions. Abercorn is a beautiful part of Savannah but the sketchy looking building/shared building with a laundry/dry-cleaning service was a less than pleasant surprise that was off-putting. Ended up getting a cheap hotel room for our last night in town.

Great Experience and will book here again

The upstairs apartment met our needs and was a great location for walking with off-street parking. Connivence of local grocery. Linens were white and good. Appliances were great except the washer which had water sitting in the seal and door closed. Very musty smell. Good outlets and lighting. Great recliner, desk and king bed. Sofa bed not comfortable for seating. Getting hot water in kitchen or bath took a LONG time. Good humidity and temperature control A few disruptions with WiFi service Rental could certainly be improved with deep cleaning. Dirty vents, walls and baseboards and under furniture.

This stay was neither the best nor worst for me. The apartment is small and cute. Could it use some work and some upgrades? Absolutely. The location is fantastic and is one of the main reasons we booked it. There is a Kroger less than a block away which was also very convenient (and turned out to be a lifesaver for ice and cold things). The management company was responsive and nice, parking was fantastic, and check-out procedures were the easiest I’ve ever had. Negatives: The refrigerator was broken on Friday when we got there. Initially we thought it just needed some time to cool down from being shut off or something, but that was not the case at all. We drove from NC so everything we brought that needed to be refrigerated didn’t make it, nor did our delicious (and expensive) leftovers from dinner. The next morning, I let the management company know, and I was told they already knew about the problem. NOT OK. They knew ahead of time and never bothered to tell us OR solve the problem ahead of time. After I got upset by that, they offered to bring a mini-frig. It was delivered quickly, and that was a nice gesture. However, it should have already been there since they knew the main one was broken. It took a few hours to cool down so it wasn’t really useable until Saturday night. We left Sunday. I understand this isn’t a show-stopper, but it was very annoying—especially for the price we paid. Frankly, we’d have booked a hotel, but we wanted a kitchen.

It would be hard to find a greater location. A beautiful park a block away in one direction. A Kroger supermarket a block away in another direction and at least two excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking is a breeze. However, the water pressure in the shower is a little better than a dribble. The accommodation is right in line with it’s reasonable price. If someone is expecting modern luxury, then look elsewhere. Would we stay there again, I would say yes.

I took a chance after reading many reviews and everything went well. We knew just where to go and the check-in was all done online, everything was done online. Parking was right outside the door and roomy for my large pick-up truck. Grocery and Dollar store was just down the street. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was great. The only thing that was unpleasant was that the 2 twin beds have a very annoying rubbery sound ( like making large ballon animals ) when you get in bed. And there is no table to sit at and eat, use the coffee table.

Location and property was clean and nice

It was nice having free parking, and it was close to Forsyth park. This is listed as sleeping 6, but it really only sleeps 4. There is a pull out couch, but it was broken. I called and LM as there was also no blankets for this. They brought a blanket by that smelled like smoke and told us that someone was supposed to bring by springs for the couch? I was also told that there was a blow up mattress that we were to use instead of the pull out couch. We were able to wash the blanket since there was a washer and dryer available. There was also an outlet without a cover in the room with the twin beds. We were traveling with a 2 year old, so we had to move something in front of it so that my toddler wouldnt stick his fungers on the side of it and get electricuted. On the last night there, we heated up the oven only to find a tray with a bunch of chicken wings that were left in there from maybe the prior guests. Maybe they forgot to check the oven while cleaning? It was pretty gross, though. I really feel like they should have refunded the stay due to this not being as advertised. It was pretty disappointing.

Great location for the price! A nice little apartment to sleep and rest while we enjoyed all of Savanah. It was in a safe, walkable area and had easy access to the free dot trolley and there was a nearby grocery store to buy some food. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect apartment with off street parking! In walking distance to the park where you can jump on the Trolly Tour. Also close to Clarys which has amazing breakfast. Will definitely use again next time we are there.

Everything was perfect

The location was phenomenal! Easy access to Kroger and Forsyth Park.

There were several minor issues that is causing me to leave my first negative review. Overall it looked as listed. There was a heavy smell of dampness/mold throughout (and a strong plug in air freshener scent that didn’t cover it - just added to the smell). There was a very large, loud running dehumidifier in the living room that was hard to talk over, but we kept it running due to the wet smell. We emptied it once to twice daily (the alarm when full woke us the first night). No windows open to help with the smell. Not sure all the air vents worked in the bedrooms, so we had to keep the bedroom doors open to keep the proper temperature (they got very hot during the day but cold at night). There was a running fan in the living room (in addition to the dehumidifier) - and maybe that was supposed to help with the air circulation. There was no communication about either. We couldn’t log into the main tv, but we brought a bedroom tv into the living room and that worked. We started to take the bikes out, but a tire was flat and they’re not in great shape. There was a pump, but we didn’t try. No garbage bags in the drawer labeled “extra garbage bags.” The clothes washer had a gooey black substance inside the door I cleaned before we did a load. One of the single beds was not level, so my daughter slept on a slant. Street noise can definitely be heard in the bedrooms - but the loud running dehumidifier helped mask the traffic sounds. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.

The apartment was all that the host stated - closed to downtown, ease of parking, great instructions for arrival, safe entry and departures. Truly walking distance to most all you need while visiting. A couple notes - nothing bad:1) it would have been great to have a little bit of coffee in the apartment for the first morning there. 2) Kleenex's would be helpful3) The twin beds creak something awful and could be heard in the other bedroom - maybe tighten the frames up and oil them?

Great location and easy check in process. There were two negatives: 1.The two twin beds squeak extremely loud. Any time you turn or move on them it is very very loud which does disrupt the other person sleeping in there. 2. The shower is very particular in how to get the hot water. You need to pull the knob all the way out and turn it all the way to the left. This is confusing because when you’re waiting for the water to warm up if you hadn’t turned the faucet all the way left, but only 3/4 left, It’s actually ice cold water and it gets warmer as you turn it to the right, but the actual hot water for a shower has to be when the faucet turns all the way to the left, which they did not do a good job of explaining so we ended up taking cold showers the first day

It's a very noisy area and because of all the air conditioners they have in the windows you hear everything on the street. The place needs a good deep clean. Like sweeping and mopping under and behind all the furniture. The washer needs to be cleaned as it has black mold in it. Check out was not easy.

This space was perfect for our family. It had enough room for everyone to sleep plus space for friends to drop in to visit my daughter on her birthday. Quick drive to everything and even walk distance to most. Great space, highly recommend.

Good spot for easy access to Forsythe Park. The sounds from the fans and dehumidifiers were a bit much.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was in a perfect location close to grocery store, Forsyth Park and walking distance to most everything else. The apartment was large enough to accommodate our needs and had eveyrhing you need for your stay. The off street parking was great as well. This will be my go to place in the future when visiting Savannah.

When we got back it was SO much cooler and we didn't have any issues with being hot. The location makes it SO easy to walk anywhere in the park/historic/river districts. We were never concerned for our safety while staying here and the parking was great. It is perfect for a small group of people, weekend getaway, or even for a small family. When I did reach out about a towel rack falling, the company was very quick to email me back and very professional. No complaints from us!

Location was great. A lot of construction noise and street. Unit met our needs although refrigerator was out did have a small refrigerator unit we mafe it work. Unit needs to be updated some fresh paint would go a long way.

Nice location beautiful city

We spent 3 nights here for a quick getaway. The property is conveniently located and just a few mins walk to Forsyth Park. Property was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location next to the park and the Kroger. Historic Savannah is always so nice and it was a great trip with a home base in a cozy loft apartment space.

Location was important to us and was a big factor in choosing this unit. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was serviceable. Unit comes with two bicycles, which, although we didn't use them, is a plus. The bad side is that it feels like the owners are doing just enough to keep the unit in rent. Only one kitchen towel, which was dirty. While we were both in the living room, the shower curtain fell down. We got it back in place, but it didn't feel sturdy. I have never seen a water saver shower head that restricted water flow as much as this one did. Yes, I tried all adjustments available. This is a serviceable unit, one block from Forsyth Park and the DOT line. Plenty of bath towels, water was very hot once it arrived. With a little sprucing up it would be a great place to stay.
