Location is great. Poor management I didn’t get any information regarding free WiFi and washer and stove information until the last to the second day of my stay.

A very nice place, but long term local parking during the day doesn't exist and no suggestions we're provided. The lock box is actually down the street from the entry door and totally unmarked. The knob for the bathroom door is situated very close to the jamb and has a very tight spring. I was never able to open it from the inside. Had to leave the door ajar.

The apartment was in a great location for quickly bouncing back and forth between New and Old Town. It was also more spacious than expected from the photos. The bed is also much larger than a queen, which is what’s listed. However, the unit was not exactly as shown in the photos: different art, furniture, and wall colours. It was a bit more rough around the edges than expected in its furniture, washroom, and finishes. The bed was large, but not the most comfortable and felt quite old. The shower was really horrible (either freezing cold or burning hot). Check-in and out was easy and well communicated. It was a fine place to stay, but did not live up to its 9.4 rating.

You won't find any better location if you're trying to experience Edinburgh high points -- the castle, good food and restaurants, museums, and access points to wonderful walks. It was everything we needed to explore this beautiful city. Easy access to train station, too -- you don't need a car!

The apartment was in a perfect location. The only downside was finding the actual apartment and getting the lock box open. I had to get help opening the thing! Even the grown man i asked struggled with it. I would recommend telling people to turn down the alley on the left across fron Taco Libre. That was our visual aide when returning from being out and about. The apartment itself was great. We had everything we needed and loved that we were so close to so many restaurants, shopping and attractions. It was rather warm, so we had the windows open and I worried about maybe bugs or the noise from outside coming in and we were not bothered by either which was absolutely amazing. The apartment was an absolute gem for our stay. By Day 2 we were calling it home.

The apartment itself is excellent, 10 to 15 min to everything we wanted to visit. So we needed no bus or tramway. It was spotlessly clean, everything inside you need. There were only two things why we won't give 5 points to everything. The bed are very modern box spring beds but when one of us turned round in the night the other was awake and feeling like on a rolling ship. The other thing was the fact, that Rose Street is a very lively quarter and under the apartment is a pub with life- music till midnight and on the other side of the street an other pub with tables outside and very noisy guests. So sleeping wasn't really good, which is absolutly NOT a fault of the apartment itself.A word to the check-in: you get a code for the keys per App or email. This is very fine when you are online. But with that we had real problems, our German network did not work really good in the UK. A new guest should be aware that there could be trouble with getting the info.Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay there, Edinburgh is a fascinating and beautiful town! Thank you very much!

Great location in Edinburgh New Town, within walking distance of all sights and galleries as well as the train and bus stations, surrounded by countless shops and eateries. Convenient key pick-up and drop-off. Comfortable space for sleeping, food prep, eating and relaxing. Make sure you find the hot water switch near the clothes washer in the kitchen -- it takes a while for hot water to flow.

Floor in kitchen is uneven and needs repair. It impacts the use of the washer significantly. We loved the place and location. More clarity about which lockbox (there were several around the wall) before arrival could have reduced stress.

Great location especially during the Winter months when the Christmas Markets are up! Perfect for 2 people, extremely clean and well put together. The bathroom is a bit tight but super manageable for 3 nights

The property itself was lovely. They had painted the walls and the furniture was different than the picture shows. Not a big deal. The place was clean and nice. They had food for me in the flat as I requested. However, I tried to reach out to the owners before hand and never received a reply. The only communication I had was when it was time to check in and the instructions for checking in. I’m a little disappointed with that. One thing I was not expecting was going up and down the stairs with luggage. It’s manageable but I would not recommend those with limited mobility to stay there. It takes 3 flights to get to the flat. Overall, great experience.
