Central 2-Bedroom Apartment with private parking - home from home

We loved staying in Elisabeth's flat. It was so homely with a really well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets if needed but the heating was really efficient so not needed (despite it being a very cold weekend when we stayed). It was really quiet too despite being round the corner from a main road. Lots of shops nearby and good tram/bus links getting us into the city within 10 minutes. Also good to have the option of a parking space as sometimes we do need to come by car. We have tried various different accommodations in Edinburgh and would definitely put this as our favourite.

Elisabeth was such a lovely host. Everything was well furnished and comfortable, truly a home away from home.

Very good hospitality

Lovely flat in very convenient location to public transportation and dining. Well stocked, comfortable beds, hosts very welcoming and great communicators. Highly recommend!

Property manager was very nice. The Property was fully equipped and very clean. We felt very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this stay.

Everything was wonderful. Great location, the place was very clean and tidy with lots of amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee filter, nice living-room, 2 full bathrooms…..) and a warm welcome by the host Elisabeth. A huge 10/10!!

We loved it here! So warm and cosy and really well equipped. It was so nice to have some treats on arrival and also things like cling film, tea, oil available. There were also some games for the kids. The beds were really comfy. It is really well located to see Edinburgh and you don’t need a car. We went to hill end on the number 4 bus and went on the pentlands rollercoaster which was amazing. Also dynamic earth, Mary kings close, climbed Arthur’s seat and went to the sheep’s heid. Camera obscura and magician on the royal mile also brilliant! Thanks elisabeth and Gordon. Great communication

Great stay! Lovely appartment with everything we needed and walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Also the bus and tram stop are 2 min walk. A very nice touch was the personal welcome and the personal touch in the appartment. Thanks for welcoming us!

Everything was very good.

Very comfortable with all amenities in a lovely and very convenient location. Car parking space was a bonus. The owner had been careful to create a welcoming atmosphere and on entering the property it was warm with some subtle Christmas decorations dotted around. It had everything we needed and we were really comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

A very nice appartment welle located. We appreciated the calm of the neighborhood after a jour eh of tourism in the City. We arrive late, because of trains delays, and Elizabeth was there waiti g for us. Thank you for your kindness. I definitly recommend this appartment.

Yes Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked. It was clean and tidy. There was wifi, TV and music readily available. This apartment is close to everything.. restaurants, trams, buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again. Thanks Elisabeth for being such a great host!

As Americans, we had to learn the operations of the house. It met our needs very well and we enjoyed the apartment. We are probably coming in at the end of a heavy rental season.

Situated in a very central location, this property is perfect for a quick family getaway to beautiful Edinburgh. Almost felt like home away from home. My interactions with the host and the way in which she managed our check-in was seamless. We would certainly use this property again.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. Elisabeth and Gordon met us on arrival and explained the do’s and don’ts , the Apartment was clean and comfortable and very convenient for trans and buses with on site parking for our large van. We have no complaints and did get used to the stairs up to the apartment ( the luggage carrying up stairs was fun !) but we were aware there was no lift before booking. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary shortbread and sweeties . Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were very happy with our stay. The location was excellent. Walk to the center, or a bus or tram ride away if you don’t feel up to the walk. Our host was warm, welcoming and accommodating. An overall great experience.

We stayed three nights at Elisabeth’s wonderful apartment in Edinburgh and felt completely at home. The flat is located in a quiet cul-de-sac yet perfectly central: shops are within easy walking distance, and the old town can be reached in about 15–20 minutes on foot (less than a mile). The car can be safely parked in the courtyard – we didn’t need it at all during our stay.The apartment is on the third floor (no lift), which wasn’t an issue for us as we knew beforehand. Once upstairs, it feels almost like a penthouse: bright, spacious, tastefully decorated, and furnished to a high standard. Everything was spotless, with a comfortable double bed, two single beds, and a fully equipped kitchen – nothing was missing.Elisabeth is a fantastic host – very friendly, welcoming, and easy-going, with excellent communication. We were warmly greeted, had a great introduction to the flat, and departure arrangements were relaxed and uncomplicated.It was a perfect stay for us – we only wish we had booked more nights. Highly recommended!

Our group of 4 (2 couples) absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we needed. Elisabeth welcomed us warmly and our stay in Edinburgh couldn't have been better.

Fantatic stay here. Elisabeth was very attentive in communicating and provided lots of helpful information. The accommodation is in a great location with plenty of shops and food places near by and it has the added bonus of off street parking. The flat was spacious, clean and very well equipped; we were very comfortable here.Would have no hesitation staying again.

Was a really nice place

A very nice, clean apartment in a nice, calm area of Edinburgh. Close to restaurants and easy to walk into city. The apartment had everything we needed, even adapters so we could charge our cellphones. Comfort beds and lots of guidebooks. Well over our expectations compare to the photos.

We had a wonderful stay here. Plenty of space, a clean and comfortable accommodation with everything a person could need. Elisabeth was excellent with communication beforehand and we felt very well taken care of.Just a few minutes from plenty of coffee, food, grocery stores and trams / buses.I would happily return next time I’m in Edinburgh!

We really enjoyed our time in the wonderful, well-kept apartment, which was furnished with attention to detail. Our very nice hostess, Elisabeth, welcomed us personally and showed us everything.There were shops nearby, good restaurants (for breakfast or dinner), and it wasn't far from the city center; a 15-20 minute walk or a 5-minute bus or tram ride.We would love to come back anytime.

We loved the apartment. It gave us a place to relax and plan our days. Grateful for the wi-fi since our mobile data didn't work in the UK. Bus and tram stops nearby made moving about the city easy.I would recommend this property as a base for exploring Edinburgh.

First impression of the apartment is that it is very neat and clean. Comfortable beds and we enjoyed a good hot shower after one long and cold day outside. Kitchen has all the necessary cooking equipment and condiments. The big plus was the secured car park space just within the apartment compound. The host communicated with us timely and was present to show us the apartment. Overall, we had a grrat stay at Edinburgh and would strongly recommend this place to stay.

Couldn't wish for a better apartment in a great area of Edinburgh. 15 minute walk to the center along Leith Walk which has tons of bars, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and shops. Apartment is clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you could think of being readily available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you Elisabeth.

Great location, excellent rental with lots of space and superb facilities. The building may not look much from outside but do not be deceived! Flat is spotlessly clean and has all that you need, and is situated near to some great pubs on Leith Walk.

We had an excellent stay. Our host was very kind and accommodating. Easy access to the tram to get to all the hot spots.
