Carpinteria Apt w/ Hot Tub - 10 Min Walk to Beach!

Loved the house and the location!

The host was extremely responsive. The home itself was over 100 years old and had all the problems that come with age: no heat in one of two bedrooms and the bathroom; no working outlets in the bathroom; bad smell; ant infestation. The shower had a single, half-panel of glass so you were basically out in the open and without heat, it was freezing.

We absolutely love staying in the Castro house in the heart of Carpinteria! We love the spacious layout of this historic vacation rental! Everything was well appointed, the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. to cook meals and loved the 10 minute walk to the beach. Jana was very responsive with messaging and very sweet as well! Clean & comfortable beds and an amazing location. We’ve stayed here twice. It’s a reliable spot that could use some tlc and a few more kitchen items / repairs but the location makes it perfect.

We hv stayed here 2x family of six teens and young adult family. We will be back! Great location!

Loved this quality home of character! Beautiful throughout with comfortable beds, enjoyable private hot tub, nice kitchen, good and helpful communication and with every other amenity we needed. Also, location wise you can easily walk anywhere in this quaint town. With such lovely old time detail, they just don't build homes like this anymore.

Communication was excellent! The house was very clean, and very close to restaurants and shopping. Like others have said the bathroom is small, and it is an interesting layout where you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to main areas from the back bedroom.Beds were comfortable but the sofa sleeper mattress is a bit thin. Although it’s close to a gas station the home was surprisingly quiet and very peaceful. We hope to stay here again.

The unit was nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is not so great…shower is a good size, but sink is TINY. Also, you have to walk thru one bedroom to get to the bathroom and second bedroom. All in all, it was a nice stay, good location (walkable to restaurants and grocery store), nicely updated kitchen and comfy couches and beds.

Just a wonderful place to stay in Carpinteria. Really can't beat the location, comfort, space, backyard, parking, etc. Right by the main streets of the city, yet quiet and charming.

Very spacious and clean dog-friendly house in perfect location. Very close to shops, restaurants, grocery store, and most importantly the beach!

Enjoyed our stay for our daughter’s graduation. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and the beach. The house is well located and we liked the private back patio area. One small bathroom is not ideal but beds were comfy and kitchen and living space were good!

My family and I have probably come to Carp for 10 or 12 short stays over the years, and this rental location is one of our very favorites. This was the third time we've rented from the Castro House, and I imagine we'll probably keep doing it. Super cute, comfortable, clean, cozy... all the good c's!

We had an enjoyable stay. The positives - The location was great - walking distance to lots of restaurants. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen appliance were new and clean. Some of the cons - As stated in other reviews, the bathroom was very small and there was no heating element in the bathroom and water pressure was very low. Additionally the house is right next to(and facing) a gas station. We had a great weekend.

This rental is right in the middle of Carpinteria. Very clean, comfortable beds. We went for AvoCabo Festival and could listen to the bands from our back deck. Short walk to the beautiful beach.

Our family of 6 had a great weekend in this rental. It’s very close to shops and restaurants. Quick walk to the beach! Would stay again for sure.

Wonder property - great location.

This was our first experience with Evolve Rentals. We loved this apartment inside a 122 year historic home. It was well kept, clean, & centrally located in the cute little town of Carpinteria. The master bedroom bed is the most comfortable bed ever! The backyard is perfect for working remote or reading a book while on vacation. It was nice to have a private hot tub. This unit was so charming and we hope to be back! The proximity to the local restaurants and 10 minute walk to the beach were awesome :)

Great place to stay and you are centraly located to all the great shops and close to the beach.

Just a wonderful place and great neighborhood to be in Carpinteria.

Amazing property. Yard is split but still very private. Close to everything if you want to park and have a relaxing weekend
