Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire cabin. This cabin is hotel-style with 5 other rooms in the building.

There is a new community firepit and cornhole game in front of the Grand Lodge by the playground.

The Lobby, located at the front of the property by Fall River Road, offers a paid guest laundry room, pamphlets for local attractions, and a coffee bar. You can access the door with your cabin code.

The Neighborhood:

Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as bear and elk on our property.

Getting Around:

The easiest way to get around is by car. You do not need four wheel drive to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.

The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!

Other Things to Note:

We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.

Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents! Thank you!

Room was comfortable and clean, but smaller than a hotel room. Very close to town and National Park entrance. If you are planning on cooking or eating in, the kitchen is not really big enough for that. It worked perfectly for our coffee and microwave sausage biscuits. We also made sandwiches to take into the Park. Refrigerator/Freezer is good size to keep drinks and bags of ice for the ice chest. Over all a nice place. We would stay again.

Everything about this place was great!! The cabin was spotless!! The views were beautiful! We enjoyed this cabin because it was away from the hustle, and bustle but yet close enough to amenities. The river nearby was an added bonus, just a quick walk away! The host was incredible, we would message back and forth and typically with just a few minutes, we'd have a reply back. Amazing!! We have nothing but great things to say about this vrbo home, and its facilities!! We would love to return to estes, and hopefully stay here again soon!! Amazing weekend getaway!! Thank You so much!!

I have to admit that this small space was cleaner than any other VRBO I had this week! Thank you for taking such pride in that!! The only thing I didn’t notice upon looking at the listing was there was no vanity in the bathroom-while this was weird, we worked around it. Also the 1 mirror on the door fell off and we had to put it back up. Also we thought the fire pit was in our back yard knowing it was shared, so the pictures a bit mis leading. But again it was clean and cozy…that’s what we wanted! Great location out of the city a bit. Thank you!

This is the perfect place for us to stay in Estes Park when we visit. The location is convenient to both town and the RMNP entrance. The unit we choose is small/hotel style but that is all we need as we spend our days hiking. If you are looking for a clean, functional and economic place to stay, then this is it! Mgmt communicates very well which is a plus!
