Hidden Hills Escape | A Peaceful, Boutique Stay in Oregon Wine Country
Welcome to Hidden Hills Escape—a thoughtfully curated retreat just five miles from downtown McMinnville. Tucked into the trees and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the countryside, this private two-bedroom, two-bath apartment offers a calm and comfortable place to unwind between wine tastings, long walks, and slow mornings.

Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, Hidden Hills provides the kind of setting that invites you to breathe a little deeper and savor the moment.

A Calm, Comfortable Space
This upstairs guest apartment was designed with care to create a cozy and inviting stay:

Two king bedrooms with quality linens and views of the surrounding trees and property.

Two full bathrooms for privacy and ease, ideal for couples or traveling friends.

An open living area with soft light, relaxed seating, and a natural, welcoming feel.

French doors open to your private deck, lit with twinkle lights for a soft glow at night. Just below, the bark chip patio with a gas fire table is available for guest use—a cozy spot to sip wine, read, or stargaze beneath the wide Oregon sky.

Thoughtful Touches That Make a Difference
Fluffy, high-end towels to elevate your daily rituals

Freshly roasted Flag & Wire coffee beans from downtown McMinnville

Artisan teas from Smith Teamaker, based in Portland

A complimentary bottle of local wine to toast your arrival

These small touches are our way of welcoming you—and helping you ease into the slower pace of wine country life.

A Small Kitchen with Everything You Need
While compact, the kitchen is well-outfitted for simple meals and slow mornings:

Two-burner glass cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and refrigerator

Drip coffee maker, wine glasses, and a curated selection of cookware and utensils

Dishwasher and dining essentials to keep your stay easy and uncluttered

Note: There are no on-site laundry facilities, but we’ve included recommendations for nearby services.

A Stay That Blooms With the Season
As our guest, you’ll have private access to the flower fields at A to Z Flower Farm, located right here on the property. Depending on the season, you may find yourself walking among rows of blooming zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, or fragrant herbs—each one a living expression of the valley’s beauty.

Enjoy sunrise strolls with a cup of coffee, golden-hour wanderings among the flowers, or quiet moments tucked between rows with a good book. For many guests, this connection to the land becomes an unforgettable part of their stay.

Relaxed Setting, Real Life
Hidden Hills Escape is located on our family farm, and while guest areas are private, the land is shared with our home—and our two young children. While the setting is peaceful, it’s also a place full of life. You may hear the sounds of kids playing or family moving about the property.

In the Heart of the Willamette Valley
5 miles to downtown McMinnville for shopping, dining, and wine tasting

Surrounded by hundreds of Willamette Valley wineries and vineyards

About an hour to Portland and just over 90 minutes to the Oregon Coast

Whether you're here to celebrate, reset, or simply enjoy a slower rhythm for a few days, Hidden Hills Escape offers a relaxed, elevated experience rooted in nature, hospitality, and the beauty of Oregon wine country.

We’d love to host you.
Nichole & Matt

I have nothing bad to say about this property. The owners are super friendly, good communicators and very attentive to details and making sure your stay is care free. Amazing surroundings and near many wineries, cideries and shopping.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing country location just a short drive from town. The apartment has just about every amenity you could want including access to the back lawn for bocce or ladder ball and a sandbox! The kitchen was stocked with toaster, coffeemaker, stovetop, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, and basics like oil, vinegar, honey, sugar, coffee and tea. Very comfy beds and 2 large bathrooms. Direct TV and a great deck. Gracious hosts. It was fantastic! McMinnville is a great town too. We loved the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museums and La Rambla Spanish restaurant.

Great spot and it's on the A to Z Flower Farm. Find the farm, find the Hideaway. Short hop to groceries and to Dundee for wineries there. Outside area is great, and the sun rises to you on the outside balcony. Host is awesome. 2 full BRs and baths. Netflix on the TV and very quiet. Definitely recommend!!

My wife and I came to visit Willamette Valley to see some wineries and this house was in a perfect location. It was very quiet and peaceful but only 10 minutes from plenty of restaurants and shopping. The house was just as described, comfortable bed, plenty of outdoor space to relax at night, and you feel very secluded, surrounded by all the trees. The hosts were very nice as well, always quick to communicate and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

It was so nice to perk up our stay with a floral bouquet from the hosts’ flower farm. The fully equipped kitchen was a big plus, allowing us to stay in one night cook a meal, drink local wine, and not have to worry about driving afterwards.

This was just what we needed- a quiet respite away from the city. Waking up and smelling that crisp fresh air was refreshing. The hosts were very helpful in helping us decide what vineyards to visit and the recommendations were excellent.

Our trip to the Willamette Valley was made even better by having a clean and comfortable place to stay. As I told Matt, our host, what we appreciated most was that his property is EXACTLY as advertised. The apartment is not large, but the space is well-designed: two bedrooms and two full baths. The living space is comfortable and inviting; the galley kitchen area is convenient and well-stocked. Plus, a great view to wake-up to. Personally, we were always out-and-about, so didn't really make use of the grill, lawn area, canoe on the pond... but it was all there for future visitors. One thing I would suggest: initially check-in while it's still daylight, as the property lives up to its hidden name. Once you know where it is, it's really close to McMinnville and the other towns. And 700+ wineries:)

This was a lovely property with a lot of privacy. There many late summer/autumn flowers that we walked through and viewed from the porch. The beds were very comfortable and the little kitchen had everything we needed. Driving in after dinner one evening, we even encountered a small herd of deer!

Lovely and peaceful accommodations. Stayed here nearly 7 years ago, and our group wanted an encore visit. It didn't disappoint then, and definitely didn't now. Comfortable, well-appointed and supplied and very clean. Close to all the wineries and restaurants we went to, but didn't feel like an urban setting at all. The fabulous bottle of Argyle bubbly that greeted our arrival was a particularly nice touch.

Hidden Hills Escape is a perfect name for this sweet spot. Nichole has created a peaceful getaway on her A-Z flower farm, where guests can sit on a deck in comfortable chairs right outside the door of their second floor apartment and look out on the hills and pastures around this farm outside McMinnville. Comfortable king size beds, lots of closet space and nice baths with very good water pressure were all appreciated. The long driveway to the main road makes a nice walk, especially with the big flower garden along the way and its rows of zinnias, black eyed susans, dahlias and other summer flowers. Nichole supplied us with a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine which was enjoyed with a chocolate torte from Humble Spirit, a farm to table restaurant on Third St. in McMinnville. From the farm into downtown was about a 10 minute drive and if you travel straight down NE Baker and across 99, the road becomes Evans St. and it takes you right downtown and to a free two-hour parking lot. We loved the drive into town. McMinnville is a good base, we learned, for visits to the wineries in the Dundee Hills and it's also about an hour to Silver Falls State Park, Oregon's most popular state park, where there are waterfalls galore. Kudos to Nichole juggling a family, a home-based business and a beautiful and well-furnished and equipped vacation rental. We'd stay here again without question!

We loved everything about our stay at Hidden Hills Escape. Nichole was a great communicator, and the apartment was just as described. It had everything we needed, and more! It was an added bonus to have fabulous views as well as to be able to walk around the property and flower farm. We feel fortunate to have been able to see Nichole and Matt's little slice of heaven. They were both lovely and kind enough to accommodate some potential last-minute plans. We hope to be back to Hidden Hills soon!
