The best of Hawthorne home.This place is well equipped and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is great whether you’re cooking or just grabbing something quick, and having coffee, creamer, and sugar upon arrival was a nice touch.The bathroom had reliable hot water and a good shower, and the sitting area is cozy for two. The bedding was comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep.If you’re sensitive to light, the streetlight across the street may be noticeable at night.Great location—easy access to Ladd Circle and surrounded by restaurants

Great stay, space is modern and clean, with a well stocked kitchen if you wish to cook. Appreciated the coffee & creamers. Very private and quiet even though it is adjacent to a busy street/area.

Hosts were more than welcoming! Excellent location and space for one vehicle. Open, private loft above their garage separate from the house. Would definitely stay here again :)

This cute (above garage) studio was a wonderful, quiet space. It was walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. The apartment had a lot of natural light and was above the street offering a tranquil, quiet space.

There’s beautiful natural light filling this space. You’re surrounded by trees, but somehow there’s still an abundance of natural light. Clean, tidy, convenient

This place is in the heart of Hawthorne. Walkable to cafes, cool thrift shops, Powell’s Books and a really nice hat shop. The bed was comfy, the kitchen has everything and the view was great. It’s steps away from the bus stop.I’ll be back.

Everything was great. No problems at all! We would like to stay there again. What stood out? Loved the natural lighting, and the interior lighting design was great too.

This was our second stay and it was as enjoyable and convenient as our first stay. The apartment is spotless and well furnished and in an ideal location.

Near transit and shops, bright, and a helpful host when we thought we were locked out but in fact confused ourselves in a rush getting dinner. Modern features and easy parking made for a lovely stay.

Lovely apartment in a great neighborhood. Close to shops and restaurants yet quiet. Super clean and very comfortable beds. Check in and check out process couldn't have been easier. The host was friendly and always quick to respond to messages. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I loved our stay at this lovely carriage house. Everything was so clean and all our needs were taken care of by the excellent hosts. We will be happy to stay here the next time we visit family in Portland.

Great location and great communications. I was a little confused on the parking. Make sure you park to the right of the telephone pole as close as you can. Very clean and nice place. I woukd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great spot near a bunch of restaurants! Air conditioning worked great. And the unit is above a garage so there is no noise ever coming in. The only thing I would suggest is bringing a sleep mask since there is a lot of natural light coming in and no curtains to block it. Would recommend and come back.

This was the perfect place for our visit to Portland. It had all the amenities we needed and several thoughtful additions. The location was great. Located in a safe neighborhood, we found ourselves close to downtown and right next-door to quality restaurants and coffee shops.

This is our second time staying at The Best of Portland location! The accommodations are great. Clean, neat and in a wonderful location!

Such a lovely little gem near the center of town. The perfect fit for myself and two kids while on vacation. I appreciated the off street parking, and because we needed to do a lot of cooking, it had mostly what we needed to cook, and they offered to let us borrow anything from the main house that we might need. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. My only comment would be that there was a bit of a sugar ant issue that wasn't disclosed, so just make sure to keep all your food closed up. Would highly recommend and stay again in the future!

This apt offered everything we needed. Great location too - very walkable neighborhood with lots of spots to eat. Lg grocer nearby and laundromat also. Looking forward to our next visit - hoping to stay here again

Stayed at the apartment three nights in May. We loved the location, very close to great restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The apartment looks brand new and thoughtfully furnished. Nice and sunny and nestled among trees.

This was a fantastic stay. A wonderful property with an abundance of amenities made my time spent here perfect and with not a thing to worried about. Easy check in, easy check out, Open communication, and a marvelous location- I would love to return and in fact look forward to it.

Excellent studio apartment, clean, comfortable and everything you need for a home base while in Portland. Easy walking to multiple places, and a short uber ride to everything else. Would love to stay again!

Okay, it wasn't actually raining during our stay, but it had been POURING on our drive in, so we were delighted when we arrived and found our cozy spot. The studio's structure itself was tastefully designed and the decor was perfect. Simple and straightforward in the best way. Literally a two-minute walk to great coffee/bakery/cafe and more!

Excellent property, close to all the amenities you need. Close to the bus line to run down into Portland city, although I found the walk interesting and quite pleasant. Near the I84 and 5 which made going father afield easy. We found the locals extremely welcoming where ever we went, the people in the local bar we used GoL for us really put the icing on the cake. Hope to be returning.

Great location for walking Hawthorn street with many eateries and shops. Very clean and well equipped.

i love what you did with this place. the location and homey feeling is great. my only two complaints, minor, are the delivery trucks on friday nights and some persons dogs that barked all the time. other than that, 10/10 thanks!

Awesome stay at this cozy apartment in heart of hawthorne district. Driveway parking (check), clean apartment (check), access to a million restaurants and food trucks (check). Hosts were awesome - checked in on us to see how we were doing - their dog Shelby is our best friend now. We have always loved the area and this made it all the better. The apartment is perfect for two (smaller kids will be fine, I think). Nice kitchen as well. 5 stars - will be back
