Beautifully Spacious with Charm

It was a decent, quiet two night stay! Close to everything needed.

Kitchen was equipped with the basics. Very comfortable beds and couch. Super clean bathroom Would def stay again.

Great location. Easy check in. Great Neighborhood. Kitchen sparse, bring your own tin foil etc if you’re going to eat there. Could use a tea kettle.

The apartment was very nice, in a very quiet house, in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. The property was exactly as described.

Place was a great option for our one night stay. It allow ups to catch up with family during a trying time as we were not in Maine for pleasure. The only downside is that the only bathroom for this suite is accessible via one of the bedrooms. That means that people staying in one room need to potentially wake another person if needing the bathroom in the middle of the night. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant, the location was great and our host was very responsive with communication.

Location accessible to highways, markets and close to landmarks

Enjoyed renovated kitchen. Had two bedrooms. One with twin, one with queen. Bath was off the twin bedroom. Sofa in living room needs replacing. Not comfortable. Apartment is in house shared with someone living above. We never heard them. The two apartments shared entrance. Good location. Good mattresses.

Clean place, a bit small, Beds and pillows could be a bit more comfortable. Foyer and entry and little odd with stuff everywhere. The lone bathroom connected to the spare bed wasn't ideal but was fine. Nice kitchen.

Very nice older home, quiet neighborhood. Place was very clean however furniture was dusty. If you’re not allergic to dust you would never notice.

This property truly lived up to the description. It was very clean, cozy, and spacious in a super cute neighborhood. We only had two adults, but could’ve easily fit a few other adults if necessary. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet separate space in someone’s home. The layout is odd with the bathroom only accessible through a bedroom. The place was clean but very dusty. Neighborhood was safe, but not walkable. Would recommend!

Very cute, very clean, safe neighborhood. The only thing was knowing the one bathroom is not in the larger main bedroom. I might have missed on the description but besides waking our daughter up at night it wasn’t really an issue. Ha!

This property was great for our overnight stay in Portland! The location is peaceful and the space was clean and spacious. It’s conveniently located just 15 minutes from Old Port and plenty to do in the Portland area. The host was proactive and responsive to any issues or questions with the property. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Portland!

We were looking for coaster, throw pillows for the couch and dish towels. We were very happy try they had the coffee pods. We understood it was an apartment but we’re taken aback by all the clutter on the front porch.

Served our needs for an overnight near Deering well. The apartment was very clean, well priced, and in a quiet residential neighborhood. The remodeled kitchen is the highlight - beautiful, sunny space to sip your morning coffee. We did not cook so can't comment on how well stocked it is for that. Mattresses could be more comfy but that's a personal preference. Would stay again.

This house is very nice and well maintained.Beds are very comfy :)Could improve adding few items for kitchen ( toaster, extra pan, pasta strainer few more utensils would be great).If it is ok for you to sleep on a couch than 4 is good but if you are all tall, it's not the best thing.We were a family of 4 from Montreal who enjoyed going around and seeing head light in Portland.

The location is EXCELLENT if you want to travel anywhere in or out of Portland. The place is very nice inside and spacious. Had a wonderful stay here

Great and cozy stay. Close to city and easy to deal with parking. Host is very communicative also. One big plus was V already had streaming services signed in. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a long weekend trip with my mom, the place was perfect for us. Wayne was very responsive and the neighborhood is very beautiful and quiet, a little more than 10 min drive to downtown Portland. Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at this location. Its quite and easy to get to. It could use a few more kitchen amenities like seafood crackers.

We loved the newly renovated kitchen and bath. It had a homey feel and was close to where we wanted to be. Would stay again.

Spacious place in a quiet neighborhood about a 15 minute drive to Scales restaurant in Portland. Very nice kitchen with nice amenities. Would have liked wine glasses and a bathroom central to both bedrooms with shampoo and conditioner. But overall it worked well for us! Thanks for the hospitality Wayne!

Wayne’s house was an easy short drive from Portland in a nice quiet neighborhood. The older house has a nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen and the living/bedroom areas retain some of the historic charm. The kitchen was very spacious but could be better stocked for cooking, otherwise we had everything we needed for a short stay and we were very comfortable.

Overall very clean but no tv service for our evening right before bed. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store close by. Close to downtown

The place is clean and tidy. Living area and kitchen are spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to find. Convenient location, not too far from downtown Portland and the airport. Owners is very responsive to enquiries. The only downside is bathroom located inside one of the bedroom, but otherwise a pleasant stay. Thank you!

The location was great - about 15 min drive into Old Port; quiet/safe neighborhood. However, the inside was not great - the table was sticky, there was black hair all over the bathroom floor, shelves and in the bath. The toilet paper was awful and ripped when used. There was no hand soap provided - just a bar of very harsh soap. The bed mattress was awful and we were unable to sleep the entire stay - very uncomfortable and we both left with very sore backs. Won't be rebooking sadly. Its clear the owner has not invested into the space more then necessary.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding, and the accommodation worked very well for us. The place was clean, quiet, comfortable, and convenient to Portland area attractions. Interactions with the host were straightforward. As others have noted, the kitchen is not well stocked for scratch cooking, but that wasn't a priority for us. I would certainly stay here again if in need of a Portland area accommodation.
