Stayed Jun 11, 2026This loft is perfect for a couple. The kitchen area was beautiful. It had everything you might need. If not there are plenty of places to eat out available. The living and bedroom area was extremely nice. It has a Murphy bed that we slept very comfortably in. There was a large sectional sofathat seemed brand new. The whole loft was beautifully designed. Four large windows looking out over the old Fort Madison train station and then out onto the Mississippi River. There are multiple trains that go by which we found so interesting and large barges along the river. The site said there are stairs to get to the second level which we were well aware of. If you have trouble with stairs beware. We had no trouble sleeping with the trains going by. I would totally recommend booking here and would love to stay here again!!

Stayed Nov 10, 2023Wonderful property to stay and spend our weekend. The view of the river and rails were amazing and just what we wanted. Many sweet little surprises supplied to make the stay extra pleasant. Ear plugs, a bathroom kit, cards, laundry basket, extra linens and a list of restaurants/grocery stores. A beautiful apartment, easy parking, a definate place to stay again.
