It was just like it was advertised. Was clean and comfortable. We would stay again. The only issue is Google maps takes you to a address about 6miles away. Thankfully that person was outside and knew where we needed to go.
Something in the kitchen was making a dripping noise against metal when it rained. The neighbors in first cabin parked in front of our cabin twice and was sitting on our porch when we arrived. They stayed up past 10pm on their front porch in the third cabin. The buildings were built to close. The shower head could be better. Small shelf beside the bed was small for a breathing machine CPAP. No nightstand for sleep apnea machine. The outside garbage can should be enclosed in a gate so outside critters do not get into it. Paper plates, bowls, and plastic ware would help. Dirty hamper for sheets and towels instead of us putting it on the floor. Soap dish would be more classy. Access to firewood for the pit. I understand those door locks. The person i was with did not. Make sure your guests know how to lock up
Perfect for us
This little cabin was so cute and exactly as listed. Nice secluded area. I wouldn’t recommend more than two people even though there were bunk beds. We enjoyed it!
What a beautiful place this was, nice and clean and quiet. The accommodations was great they provided from coffee in the morning and clean towels and sheets.
We enjoyed the little cabin and it was just as explained in the listing. The only thing was the TV seemed to be all streaming so it was difficult for us.
I have nothing bad to say about my stay there. It was the most relaxing weekend I really wish I could have stayed much longer beautiful place to stay very peaceful
Not only are the grounds quiet and peaceful, the cabin was just wonderful. Although I wish I had a choice at the time when I booked. My fiancé had a little harder time with his height in the shower and getting out of the bed against the wall at our age. We were able to see one of the cabins that was empty for the next time. We will definitely book here again.
What a sweet place with everything you will need for a relaxing getaway!!
I'll be honest: I never intended to stay at this property. I had been eyeing up another within walking distance of downtown, but by the time I was ready to commit, it was gone for the week I needed, so I booked this one instead. I instantly began to worry. Was it inconveniently far from downtown? Was it in a safe area? No worries. The cabin is an easy drive from downtown, but situated in a lovely wooded setting a good distance off the road. There are two other cabins on either side which share access to the fire pit area. Although the cabins were close, we were never disturbed by the other guests. If possible, it would be wonderful to book the three cabins together for families that wanted to vacation together but have their own space. The cabin itself was perfect. There were comfy Adirondack chairs on the front porch. The cabin was spotless. Though small, it was so efficiently laid out that there was plenty of space. There were also plenty of nice details: a full spice rack, a Keurig stocked with K-cups and creamer and sugar, a little basket of snacks, and little toiletries by the bathroom sink. The helpful note above the kitchen sink provided important info, like contact info for the property manager and the availability of clean old towels under the sink in case of a spill. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, from towels, washcloths, paper towels and toilet paper to dishes, dish soap, dish towels, a drying rack, and a lighter and grill tools (though we never used the grill). There were plenty of options to watch on the Roku TV even if you don't have access to a streaming service. Checkout instructions were clearly posted and easy to follow. I never needed to contact the property manager because we had all the information and items we needed for an enjoyable stay. I would happily stay at this property again--highly recommend.
Everything was great. The location was fantastic, and it was tucked back in the woods just enough to feel secluded and have a quiet experience with nature. It was clean and well stocked with coffee, cooking utensils and extra garbage bags + toilet paper, etc. My only complaint is that the property manager wasn’t quick to reply to emails prior to trip, or when we arrived via phone. Luckily we didn’t have any issues and the question we had, we were able to figure out ourselves. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back again the next time we want to visit beautiful North Carolina!
Great idea of rental spaces
Cute private cabin was everything we needed. Clean, updated, comfortable and at a competitive price. Really appreciated the loaded Keurig machine for a good cup of coffee to compliment the beautiful mornings here.
