Beautiful Blue Mountains Garden Flat

Exactly as described, really is a lovely garden flat - very comfortable, peaceful and quiet with all the amenities you would need. Not really walking distance to Katoomba village so do need to drive which suited us fine.

A lovely place to relax, beautiful gardens and a kind host. Recommended.

The flat was tidy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Edwina was a wonderful host friendly, welcoming, and made our stay feel effortless.

Edwina is a lovely person who offered to help us inside with our gear upon arrival. The first night was unseasonably cold and the electric blanket on our bed and extra blankets saved us. Unfortunately a few of the dishes provided weren’t complexly clean but Edwina was very apologetic and receptive to the feedback. Overall a lovely stay despite the weather.

Edwina has rhe most beautiful little flat, it was just so perfect for our babymoon. We were so comfy and cosy. We can't thank her enough and look forward to coming again. Huge recommend.

Lovely host and property. Nice and peaceful and loved the backyard sitting area looking out onto the bush land.

easy to access, close to shops, but need a car, owner has a marvellous eye for detail, and ensured the experience was a home away from home. All amenities you could wish for

perfection - not perfect, but perfectly what i was hoping for! i wanted a humble affordable solo getaway, easy to get to (taxi, close to station & grocery) somewhere cozy with plenty of places to sit and relax, cozy ambience indoors, close access to trail walks, peaceful nature vibes and the amenities i need (cooking, showering, warmth) you will love this if: - you want a peaceful getaway - you love cozy! fireplace, open plan studio, comfy bed, electric blanket - garden vibes! views out every window/door, multiple places to sit in the beautiful and charmingly unkempt multi-tier garden (my fave type) - birbs - tranquility, birb songs, mountain air, bush views, garden foliage, lil buzzing bees, sound of the breeze in the trees, away from busyness - many different flora and fauna - tea and cake out in the garden - dinner outside while watching the bush - shortest walk ever to a beautiful trail walk with multiple views, streams, and minnehaha falls - a host who is extremely helpful with questions and also leaves you be to enjoy your solitude - strolls around the chill neighbourhood, and a true local vibes cafe close by - picnics at the reserve, there’s swings, tables, and lots of hilarious and cute birbs … look, i could go on listing, but if you are looking for a serene, tranquil, humble, very cozy lil getaway, that is affordable on a budget: this. is. the. place. i will be back asap. either in summer so i can swim at the falls, or in autumn so i can enjoy the falling leaves

Was a good little stay for a quick getaway

Nice flat but very cold in mid-winter. The heaters were only on or off so we had to leave one on all night it was so cold.

Stay was nice and cozy, good for a quick getaway. Only thing I wish was posted on the listing was that the room is underneath the house and you have to go through the side of the house to access it. Other than that it was a great stay!

We loved all activities in area . Waterfall walks well worth doing. Stay at property was comfy inside well catered for but access was difficult

Edwina’s cottage was a lovely retreat for us. Comfy bed, great kitchenette, warm flat and quiet location.

Our host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very nice, our only problem was the heating it was very cold and the electric heater was not sufficient to heat the room we had to have the little fan heater on to warm up the room, otherwise we would have given it 5 stars

The garden flat had everything I could have needed. Even though the weather was cold, the heater, throws and electric blankets made it incredibly cosy. Edwina was very helpful with any queries I had. And the lovely hot shower was wonderful after a long day hiking!
