Beautiful 2 Bedroom Downtown Grand Marais w/ Incredible Lake Views

Excellent property; I highly recommend.

I have stayed here before (last year) and this year, unfortunately, the stock of kitchen utensils and pans, etc. had drastically decreased. There were not even enough plates for all of us to eat dinner together. You should at least have enough utensils and plates, bowls, cups to serve the amount of people your place sleeps. There were no sheet pans for the oven. There was no type of large bowl for salad. There was no pizza cutter. I tried to make dinner for my family both nights and had to buy kitchen items at the local grocery store in order to make dinner. I luckily brought coffee with me. There was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee or sugar. Also, the balcony reeked of urine this year, so we didn’t go out there. The place is really cute, besides that. And I love how close it is to the grocery store and downtown Grand Marais.

Cute clean updated apartment. One negative, could use new ottoman and chair, both were stained badly. Good location, could walk to restaurants and bars.

It was a very cute place to stay, owner was nice unfortunately all the dishes/pots and pans/ utensils we went to use were dirty. The drawers they were in were also dirty. We found pumpkin seeds in the carpet in the living room and when my husband went to use the grill it was full of cigarette butts.

The apartment was perfect for our trip to Grand Marais. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you.

The pictures posted accurately represent the property.We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s throughout the North Shore. The positives:Location location location! Walking distance to everything in town. Comfortable beds Shower with great water pressure and spacious bathroom Negatives:This is a multiunit house and you can hear others walking above as well as below. The furniture in living room could use some updating- the couch is quite uncomfortable and you can feel the springs sticking into you as you sit on it. The ottoman and other chair are quite stained. An end table in the living room would be helpful for snacks and drinksNo paper towels or napkins No salt and pepper Minimal cooking utensils, no spatula & the one pan we made eggs with was a bit warped. That being said we had a great time as always in our favorite get away town of Grand Marais.The host was quick to answer back when we requested a code for tv.

Great clean stay for a quick trip up to beautiful Grand Marais.

The location, condition of the property, and the beds were wonderful! Suggestion: replace the couch. We love to binge watch TV on our girls trips and the couch in the apartment is past its prime. Thank you for a great time in Grand Marais!

This was a standout VRBO stay for us. The apartment was clean and functional, and very convenient (walkable) to all of downtown Grand Marais. Ben is extremely responsive (I got a reply within eight minutes via the VRBO app) and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to come back here next time we're in the area!

The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable with European style bedding. It's a great location within easy walking distance of all attractions. The balcony was a nice place to sit and enjoy being outside. Ben was great and very responsive.

This apartment has a fantastic location! It’s very clean and comfortable. The beds, linens, and towels are great and it’s outfitted with basics. Really nice, big bathroom with a good shower (size, water pressure). Unit has a nice covered balcony that’s good for relaxing on and this is a perfect spot if you need a landing pad that’s easy to get to and a pleasant, quiet spot. The owner is very quick to respond to messages and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Great location and the space met all of our needs.

(Review by my son). Host was great; he brought us a fan because we needed it. House is good. Quiet, but close to town. View of the lake was nice. I would certainly stay there again.

Property was great. Large and quite comfortable. Much better than any hotel I've stayed at in the area. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful, but not overbearing. Location was excellent. I would stay here again.

Accommodations were comfortable and right for what we needed. We just needed a place to regroup after spending the day in the BWCA, so this was just right. Check-in was pretty seamless, though I needed to contact the owner to know which unit we were staying in. All in all, a good place for a home base when staying in Grand Marais and exploring the surrounding area.

This is a simple no frills rental with the essentials for a pleasant stay. The location was great; a short block from downtown and a couple from Lake Superior and Artist Point. Would stay again when we come back to Grand Marais.

We were very satisfied with our accommodations. Spacious rooms. Plenty of room in kitchen to cook our meals. The only thing I would suggest is that they put at least one end table or coffee table by the couch.

The beds are especially comfortable, I was attending the folk school and needed some supplies that would not have been allowed through TSA and the owner was very cooperative and supplied them for me. Everything was described. It is a bit ‘bare bones’, but serviceable.

Great location in central Grand Marais

Check in was easy, everything was as expected. Nice location close to town, easy to walk to shops.
