Very interesting property, one of the top three most unique I have stayed at. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, also lots of water, coffee pods, and snacks available. The St Elmo location was very convenient to hikes, walk to restaurants, greenway path, and more. The uniqueness comes form the age of the property, reminded me very much of my grandmother's home built in the 1900's with a bit of modern thrown in.

Just what we needed.

This was such an excellent stay! The property owners were extremely kind, and gave us a tour of the apartment (and a bit of local history) when we arrived. The location was really convenient to the Guild Trailhead and Ruby Falls, so we hiked up the mountain for our cave tour. Everything was clean inside, and the space was a good bit bigger than I was expecting. The advertising is not a lie—there are SO MANY BEARS (and other animals) all over the yard and in the wings. The charm was real. We definitely plan to return!

This place was such an unassuming gem. And we will definitely be coming back - phenomenal property and you don’t even realize how big it is until you get inside. The property managers were terrific to work with - very much a lovely family feeling yet still gave us the privacy we needed for our girls weekend. Excellent location, and awesome amenities. It was a lovely place to stay and lots of room for a couple and 2 teenage daughters. Would highly recommend! Very charming.

Was a nice stay while we were just visiting for a couple days. The rooms were spacious and there was two living rooms also. The kitchen was newly done and worked great for our stay. There was rather strap stairs to our loft upstairs, just as a FYI. I would recommend and would stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful and clean apartment. The hosts were gracious, always quick to respond to any questions, and even greeted us warmly when we arrived a little late without any complaints (we did notify them ahead of time). The home is located in a safe neighborhood and is close to everything we needed. One of the highlights for our kids was spending time in the lovely garden, which had multiple charming spots decorated for the fall season, including beautiful statues that made it even more special. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

The owner met us when we arrived. Gave us a brief hustory if the area and property. Everything about the property was outstanding. Grrat food in the area.

The place was very cute & clean - very comfy beds and couches. Plenty of space to spread out - very well stocked kitchen. Great outdoor space to relax or have a meal. Walking distance to grocery, restaurants and incline railway. The free shuttle to the Choo Choo picked us up and dropped us up in front of the house when we flagged it down & we got a front door drop- off too. Very fun family vacation. I wish they had an off - hours check in process - I felt bad when our flight was delayed & the owner stayed up for us. I would stay here again.

I could not have been more satisfied with my apartment at the Bear House! The hosts were pleasant, very accommodating and understand quality! Full of charm and class. I will stay here again no question about it!

Great experience. The Bear House was extremely nice, clean, spacious, lots of little touches that made us feel right at home. Walking distance to restaurants and very short drive to mountain tourist attractions. It was perfect!

Walking distance to Lookout Incline Railway and some fabulous restaurants. Felt welcome with complimentary coffee and snacks. The property is cute. Only thing I would mention is that the kitchen is shared, which I missed before booking.

Absolutely beautiful property! Check in was easy. Hospitality of hosts was phenomenal. This is located in a beautiful area and makes you feel safe. You are within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. I would absolutely recommend this to any of my friends or family!
