Artist's Light is a luxury family apartment located just moments from St Ives harbour front. It sleeps 6 in total with accommodation for 4 in an apartment accessed from the heart of the town; Fore Street where there are delicious delis, coffee shops serving breakfast and lunches, independent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Plus there is an annexe to accommodate an extra two people off Custom House Passage (just a few seconds from the apartment). St Ives Harbour beach is just a minute's walk away so entertaining excited dogs or children is super easy! Enjoy the benefit of being in the heart of the action but get a good night's sleep thanks to the black out and soundproof shutters.
The main apartment has wonderful sea views from its living room and super king size bedroom with ensuite. It has a twin room of 2ft 6" beds that can also be a king size bed (in width) when joined and a family bathroom with bath and separate shower. It has a large kitchen and dining room at the front of the apartment so you can watch the world go by beneath you on the bustling Fore Street.
The annexe is a large studio size room with high ceilings and character granite features. It has a king size bed with sofa and large TV. It has its own ensuite and there are also tea making facilities so you can make your first cup of tea before joining the rest of your holiday group. The annexe is a few seconds walk from the main apartment and is accessed via Custom House Passage that one way leads to the harbour front and beach and the other way to Fore Street. The annexe and master bedroom have acoustic shutters which can be great when staying in such a fantastic central location as these can be used to help eliminate light and noise.
Being in the very heart of St Ives, you will be within minutes of the great white sand beaches, the organised boat trips, the amazing food places and a great choice of shops and galleries to visit too. Leave the front door of Artist's Light and you step into the bustling life of St Ives so it is ideal for friends and families who like to have everything on their doorstep.
The private parking space for Artist's Light is at St Ives Rugby Club with a very generous sized parking space. Parking in St Ives can be a real headache during busier weeks in the town, namely between Easter and October, with available spaces in the town car parks being very rare during these times. So, even though the parking space for Artist's Light is a 15 minute walk away, it is a guaranteed space where you can come and go freely plus, during the busy periods, there is a shuttle bus which costs £1.50 per trip that picks up and drops off very close to Porthmeor Beach which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
There is free WiFi throughout the house
Two well-behaved small to medium size dogs are welcome (terms and conditions apply with a £50 per pet per week fee).
All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate.

Pets - allowed
Apartment beautifully decorated and clean fab location. The Annexe was very hot and noisy also kept awake by the light out in alleyway. The including parking is not in the best of places at the Rugby club. Very steep hill and takes around 25 mins to walk to and from. This needs to be explained better.Also then number we had to contact for parking never answered. We paid for one of the cars before we left home for the 4day but ended up paying again for a closer parking lot.
