Workers used to take a ferry across the river to work in the city of Portland. Many helped build the seawall. Now, Eliot is one of the closest 'inner' neighborhoods in town. This is a great walking and biking neighborhood. It is home to great restaurants and coffee shops & event venues. Blocks from freeway access and downtown.

I came to Portland to attend a week-long belly dance intensive and needed a place within walking distance of the studio. This fit the bill perfectly. It's literally a couple blocks from where the intensive took place, and is close to a lot of cool restaurants and coffee shops. The place is a duplex with people living in the upstairs part. You might hear people walking around above you, but for the most part, they were decent.Communication with both the owner and property manager was very reliable and prompt. Place was clean. Wi-fi was reliable. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

A lovely property, I enjoyed being there so much that I wish my trip was longer! The well cared for unit had everything we needed and we didn't even get to enjoy it all, including the back yard. The street always had parking available, and its location was great for driving to locations around the area quickly, while also being a quick safe walk away from the arena. Rocio was always available for communication and very accommodating. She even anticipated a need we may have had and proactively reached out to make us more comfortable before we even realized it. If I were to visit Portland again, seeing if this property was available again would be my first move.

This property was spotless and very well appointed. The linens get an A+. The location worked well for our time and purpose in Portland. We loved coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the evening. The claw foot tub is terrific but not for older people. Having the washer and dryer was wonderful. My only concern is the lack of a handrail going down the steep stairs to the basement to wash. Adding a handrail would be a definite plus. I would stay again

My stay here was perfect for a conference I was attending at the Oregon Convention Center. It was an easy, 15 minute walk to the convention center and the neighborhood was decent to feel safe enough doing so. Very well kept, easy check in/out process since I was flying in/out at weird times of the day. You could hear the people living upstairs at night but it really wasn't too disturbing, glad I found this house for my stay in Portland!

The property manager is very helpful and responsive. The property was well kitted out. Having coffee in the house after late evening arrival was really appreciated. The garden is a lovely place for a slow start to the morning. We would definitely recommend this property.

Close to Hwy 99. Not much of a noise problem but when big trucks go by the house shakes. Great restaurants nearby. We had steak at Ox and Ethiopian at Queen of Sheba. Transit a block away.
