Stayed Aug 11, 2025We just got back from our stay at The Alpine Escape Villa and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed. It’s in such a peaceful location, perfect for relaxing yet still a great base for exploring the island.We travel a lot and use VRBO regularly, and this was easily the nicest accommodation we’ve ever had. Our host was incredibly friendly, super accommodating and always happy to help with our many questions. The welcome touches a bottle of wine, traditional Madeiran cake and coffee made us feel instantly at home.We stayed for 4 nights but honestly wished it had been longer. The price was very reasonable for the quality and the property looked exactly like the photos...a rare find!Madeira itself was magical. The views took our breath away, there was so much to see and do, and we quickly realised we couldn’t fit it all in . We will definitely be back, not just to this beautiful apartment, but to this amazing island.Thanks for everything
