Excellent stay at The Waves…cute, comfortable, & cozy! Betsy was an excellent host. Jamestown was such a beautiful area to visit! Can’t say enough great things, it was the perfect trip!

We had a great stay at The Waves Carriage House in beautiful Jamestown. The stylish attractive apt. was comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, just a short distance from town with some nice restaurants and close to the pretty waterfront. The host (Betsy) was a pleasure to communicate with. This is a gem !

Traveling solo, I just spent 2 weeks at this wonderful, spacious, fully-equipped, well-maintained, beautifully landscaped property. The 2B/1B Carriage House Apartment is in a very desirable location, and perfectly met my needs, enabling me to invite a family member to come and stay with me for a few days. Driving around the island is amazing, with sailboats dotting the harbor and endless scenic views. Mackeral Cove is a picturesque beach that is walking distance. The town has a variety of great restaurants ( I loved Standards and the Wharf Deli), and McQuades supermarket is conveniently located at the end of the street, and has a great variety of freshly baked breads, meats, deli dishes, and everything you need. Susan was an excellent host and very helpful and responsive to requests. The area is perfect for sightseeing, and there are lots of interesting shops in Jamestown, Wickford, and Newport. I’m ready to book a return stay- maybe 3 or 4 weeks next time!!

Betsy was the best host we have ever had. My one year old great niece was with us and Betsy helped me 'baby proof' the stairway with a gate. Also, she provided a high chair and pack and play. Moreover, she was leaving for the weekend so she gave us pizza and wine to enjoy as we were unpacking. Her condo is full of beautiful artwork and very clean! Jamestown is beautiful and you can walk wherever you need to go. I highly recommend!

Lovely, clean, convenient VRBO, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and beach. Easy check in/ check out, well stocked. Sheets & towels supplied. Close to Newport, ferries, Block Island and Providence Airport. Great getaway!

The Waves is a comfortable, well-equipped apartment. Betsy has thought of everything! Jamestown is a lovely, quiet counterpart to busy days spent in Newport. Would love to return!

Excellent property with all of the amenities that a family needs. Very nice layout to the property both inside and outside. Access to the town was easy, the beach close, and stores were a short walk away. Very happy!

The waves of Jamestown is nothing short of 5 stars. Betsy is a phenomenal host and her place is beautiful and clean. She gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive throughout the duration of our stay. We enjoyed taking her little red wagon on walks to the beach, park, grocery market, and to a local pizzeria. She gave us excellent recommendations for local eateries and places to explore. With a toddler and a newborn we are a bit noisy and Betsy did not complain once. She was both gracious and generous with us. She even let my daughter feed her koi fish! I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We loved the apartment. It was large, immaculately clean, and furnished with everything we needed.
