Absolutely perfect spot and great apartment! The place is incredibly spacious with a huge bedroom, a very large living area and an extra large kitchen! We loved having that outdoor space available as well! We were super surprised by how big it was! To top it off, the bed is super comfortable and the location can’t be beat! It’s right on Main Street and walking distance to everywhere!

Perfect place to stay right off of Main Street Highlands, NC. You can easily walk to restaurants & stores. The place is like a full apartment over the wine shop. It has a den, full size bedroom & full kitchen. Owner was very hospitable and unobtrusive, but he provided his cell # if we needed him for any reason. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful apartment in downtown Highlands. The space is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Owner was very pleasant and took care of all of our needs. Highly recommend this place.

It would be a five star if bed mattress would be firmer (personal preference only). Amazing wine boutique downstairs and most convenient location- walk everywhere. Thank you!

The upstairs apartment is much larger than the photos show and has fully stocked kitchen with a full/sized refrigerator. It was conveniently located in town. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an issue getting into the property due to the code not being changed on the VRBO site. The host was traveling and contact was spotty. Just one of those rare snafus that happens along with torrential rains, after driving hours to get to your destination. The situation was finally remedied and we came into a lovely apartment and the sun actually came out. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip . The town was beautiful and had several very good restaurants. The accommodations were superb and the host graciously gifted us with a delightful bottle of wine. The trip started a little rough but there was a rainbow at the end. delicious townbeautifullovrestaurants

We’ve been to the wine shop many many times, in fact every time we go to the Highlands. When I saw that there was an apartment above for rent, I couldn’t believe it. The space itself was perfect and very well appointed. Check-in was incredibly simple. The host were available whenever we needed. We will definitely stay again.

This property was perfect. It was actually bigger than I pictured. Perfect location and walkable to the town. Will definitely be on our list for next time we visit.

Apartment had all the comforts of home - well stocked kitchen, very spacious and comfortable and clean. Great location above the Wine Shop. Enjoyed having a glass of wine and visiting with the guests at the Wine Shop. Will definitely come back!! We planned to grill steaks based on pictures on VRBO - disappointed to find no grill. Highly recommend adding a grill.

Had our second great stay in the apartment above the Wine Shoppe in Highlands. The apartment had everything we needed and is in a great location. Really nice to be able to pop downstairs and try some great wines.

Super convenient to downtown Highlands, yet very private. It has a nice private upper level patio nicely shaded by trees, a nice kitchen and breakfast area, Master bedroom, bathroom, a large sitting room/den, and closets. TV in den and master bedroom. Everything needed was there. I'll be back!
