Our beautiful home offers 3 bedrooms with incredible views, an entertainment room with a huge flat screen TV and foosball, andan open floor plan with a kitchen, dining, and living area that encourages family time.

Real quick -- house rules:

No early check in or late checkouts. Check in is 4pm or later; check out is 10am or earlier. No smoking, no pets, no parties. No wood burning in yard (gas fire pit only). 3 cars only. Guests must start a load of dishes and a laundry load of towels/hand towels/washcloths at checkout (we have negotiated a lower cleaning fee based on this). Accurate guest count is mandatory and the platform will not otherwise generate a correct price for your date. 6 guests max. Hot tub open year round. Also no cable -- bring your own streaming accounts for the smart TV.

My husband and I raised our kids in this gorgeous home near the lake, but recently moved higher into the mountains around town. We are now proud to rent our place out to people who truly wish for the best Estes has to offer. We have so many fond memories from around our backyard fire pit or from family cookouts on the deck. We hope you experience the same!

BEDROOMS

My home offers 3 bedrooms, with additional sleeping on a pullout sofabed.

Bedroom 1 - Our master suite has a luxurious king bed, views of the mountains so you can watch the sun rise or sun set, and a comfortable en suite bathroom with a shower(3/4 bathroom). It`s on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms so it has a little more privacy.

Bedroom 2 - A favorite bedroom with absolutely enormous picture windows, a comfy queen mattress, and a door leading out to the deck. It`s raised off the ground and offers a treehouse feel, and if you keep the windows open you can fall asleep to the stars.(room darkening curtains and blinds)

Bedroom 3 - Next to bedroom 2, also featuring a queen bed and windows and room darkening shades, adjacent to the second bathroom.

LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT

Living Room - I love our open floor plan! The living room, kitchen and dining area all adjoin each other in one great room, complete with a funky old yellow piano you`re free to use. There is also a massive French patio door opening onto the deck, with the grill and outdoor picnic area. Beneath the coffee table is a great selection of games for family game nights.

Outdoor Living & Hot Tub - We have two big decks, both of which have staircases leading down to the hot tub and the fire pit in the yard. There is ample space for outdoor dining and grilling on the deck, and the hot tub has great mountain views. Just down from the hot tub is a quaint outdoor gas fire pit for family gatherings.

Media Room - Downstairs is a great media room with a huge flatscreen TV with lots of streaming options as well as a foosball table. Movie nights are the best!

LAUNDRY & COOKING

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown!

Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!

Guests have complete access to my property, including the yard, deck, hot tub, kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedrooms, media room, and laundry room. We have parking for 3 cars.

I live a few miles away and am a long time Estes Park local. My husband is a great realtor (let me know if you`re interested in moving here!) and I also teach yoga and am involved in a number of community projects. I am happy to answer any questions you have -- I`m just a quick text away!

Our home is located just east of town, in walking distance to Lake Estes and all the great fishing below the causeway as the lake empties out into the Big Thompson River just before it heads down canyon. a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. The home is up a small hillside so it`s elevated, and you`ll have nice views of the mountains from the deck, hot tub, and some of the bedrooms.

We have parking for three cars at our house, and it`s about a 10 minute walk to the seasonal free bus system that goes around Estes Park and into the National Park.

NOISE

This unit is in a neighborhood with other homes nearby, so events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level. I really want to maintain good relationships with my wonderful neighbors.

NONPAYING GUESTS

Insurance forbids nonpaying and non-registered guests on property. There are motion sensitive security cameras on the outside of the building which will pick up nonpaying guests.

AIR CONDITIONER

Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners` schedule. It`s a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren`t other people to clean. I`m sorry about that!

BEARS

Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!

MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the cieling in the entryway.

    My husband & I took our 9 year old son for a weekend trip during spring break. The house was incredible, lots of space & the rooms were great size. The location is good, easy access to many of the local attractions, not too noisy & nice neighborhood. Foosball was very fun. I'm not one to just leave reviews to complain & be negative. The house wasn't picked up well & we spent much of our time picking up & cleaning. We aren't overly clean & picky. When downstairs for a family movie, my 9 year old son kept pulling trash out of the couch cushions. Pop cans, chip & snack wrappers. Then he started pulling out trash from the game bins. Seeing there was a grill, we planned on bringing food to grill for dinner one night. When we started to cook & get the grill ready, the grill was in horrible condition & was left with a ton of burnt food to the grill & full of normal grill mess that must have been piling up. It truly did take over an hour & a half to burn off & clean up the grill to even start cooking our dinner. This should be something each guest should have to clean up after or be charged for the extra cleaning time. The time it took to clean up the house & grill probably paid for a single night it cost to stay at the house. On the 2nd night the power went out at no fault of the property owner. But, there were no candles or flashlights at the house. The property owner was responsive but not helpful & didn't offer help besides using the outdoor fire pit which was also out.

    My wife and I visited Estes Park for 3 days. We really enjoyed the house as it was close to all of our destinations for the weekend - 10 minutes or less. The house itself was in excellent condition. You can tell the owners really thought of just about everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. We plan to visit again in the near future and we will bring the kids along with us!

    Beautiful, clean house!!! Everything you need is supplied. Our kids loved the family room and the hot tub. Property manager was easy to get to communicate with and checked in on us (email) which was nice. Overall a great place to stay.
