It's best for travelers looking for a quiet, coastal getaway because there aren't many large attractions. A relaxing day at the beach or a day of watersports will be the biggest lures for those visiting Isle of Palms.

*Home Truths:*
- You must be 25 years or older to book this home.
- Please note that Early Check-In (ECI) and Late Check-Out (LCO) services are not available from May to September.
- Guests must supply their own beach/pool towels.
- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- The Summerhouse pool is open seasonally between May - Sept and is not heated.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the Summerhouse pool, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
- While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. As a result, we are unable to guarantee a disruption-free environment or offer relocation for any unforeseen construction.

- There are two parking spots available.
- To gain access to Wild Dunes, the guest will need a car pass. Passes will be emailed to the guest before their arrival.

    Great well stocked kitchen, nice bedrooms, dining table for 6 plus 4 additional stool seats at the breakfast bar and very nice living space. Balcony is small but has a few chairs. We could not use the pool area due to construction but it looked beautiful. Very quick walk over the dunes to a nice section of the beach. We would come back!

    The location and convenience of the condo was great. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return. We had one day of heavy rain that included a power outage for a good portion of the Isle of Palms but the condo had great natural light and we had a great day inside. Would definitely recommend!

    The property was nice and although the view was beautiful, it was set back from ocean front. It was our first time in South Carolina and at the Wild Dunes resort. With no knowledge of the layout of properties there was construction next door. It was 20 feet from my bedroom window. Every morning I received a 7:30 wake up from Jack hammering. The property manager gave me a small and I mean small credit and indicated the property was discounted because of construction. No where in the listing did it state construction would be be near the building, nor 20 feet from the master bedroom window. And it was not a discounted property based on adjacent construction next door. The final blow was the elevator was not working when we decided to leave because of construction noise. I actually had to ask the contractors next door to help us carry things down. Beware when booking this property.

    Great time in Wild Dunes at this property - clean, kitchen and baths in great condition. They are working on building 3 - so you could hear hammers working, but did not bother us.

    The condo inside was clean and updated. The overall appearance of the building itself was very dated though. The outside carpet needs to be replaced and the whole building needs to be updated. The view from the condo was nice but couldn’t see much over the palm trees and was very far away from the beach. The pool was disgusting the whole week we were there. Trash everywhere, pool wasn’t clean and bathrooms by the pool were nasty. Not sure I ever saw anyone cleaning the pool. There were spiders on the back of the pool chairs and ants everywhere. For this amount of money that we paid it was very poor quality. Won’t be staying here again.

    Our mom loves the beach and is turning 100! She's remarkably healthy and loved walking to the beach, but also loved the view from the porch and watching the pool activity. A lovely stay. Thank you!

    The condo was nicely updated and right on the beach with a nice view as promised. There was plenty of parking. Our group was 3 adult friends and it was nice to have our own bedroom and bathroom and the spacious kitchen. We had plans to drive into Historical Charleston for tours and it was a very easy drive. We visited Sullivans Island/Fort Moultrie as well which was very close. Plenty of great restaurants in IOP.
