2 BR Highland House of Historic DWTN Franklin

Property is nice and clean in a nice area. I am giving a lower mark because there is only a small door separating the apartment from the main house. We could hear conversations going on and the smell of their cooking filled the apartment. It was weird and uncomfortable to hear their voices, surely they could hear us as well.

Cute and conveniently located property. Well maintained and in a quiet local neighborhood. Will stay again when visiting Franklin.

Was a great place to stay for a couple of nights on our Tennessee road trip. Would stay again.

The property was very comfortable and yet spacious. We were able to rest and relax during our stay. We also loved how close it was to everything.

The property was conveniently located and easy to get to the many amenities of downtown Franklin, which is exactly what we wanted. Host was extremely supportive and responsive. The property is attached to a main house.

This was a perfect, cozy place for my husband and I to enjoy our visit to Franklin.

Location and accommodations were spot on.

The only negative was a step from the living are to the bedroom area hallway was a deep stepdown. After two slight falls, care was taken when coming and going in that area. Otherwise it was a very nice experience.

Overall good stay, but the was not a sofa bed as listed, the living room floors were a bit dirty, and a cheese stick was left on the table when we arrived.

Cute cottage, very clean. The family room furniture seemed second hand and was very uncomfortable. We missed not having a kichen sink and silverware.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was absolutely spotless, neat, very easy check in and out! Very close to many places. We brought our 2 Papillons and it was a perfect backyard for them. Quiet. Would highly recommend this cute place and would definitely stay there again in the future! We do plan on returning! Such a cute town! Thank you so much!

The property was perfect as a half way location to meet with family. It is located in a lovely neighborhood close to historic downtown Franklin. No kitchen, but we managed with the little frig, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The managers were responsive and polite, even when I was initially leary of the paperwork required to rent the property. Overall very nice space, and will rent again.

This was a great location with a nice clean house. Had absolutely no issues with the place and the beds were comfortable. I gave it a 4 star because there was no kitchen at all. They have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, but no oven or kitchen sink. This was fine for this trip, but anything longer we would have wanted to cook at home. Not very feasible here.

My daughter and I were in town for a concert at Firstbank. This was a great place to stay! Quiet, clean and convenient to town.

This was a lovely place to stay for a long weekend. VERY clean, comfortable beds. Everything was really nice.

Pictures and description was not what we expected. It was not clean when we arrived. The did clean it next day while we were out. It was difficult for my elderly mother. There was a step down off the living room. Good communication with property management.

The property is clean and well kept. There were some issues with internet that the management company worked to resolve during our stay. The unit is attached directly to the main house, and consequently has some noise spill, particularly with the house tenant's dog. Additionally, the door accessing the main house cannot be locked from within the VRBO.

I really enjoyed the guest house. It was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to know they didn’t have any wash cloths to remove makeup and maybe a reminder to bring water to drink. But overall it was lovely.

Cute place, very clean.

The place is so sweet. The beds are super comfy, with nice bathrooms and perfect living area. The only issue we had was the resident bat on the front door. We named him Bruce, naturally. He only came by at night and wouldn't move until we opened the door, which always called forth cardiac arrest. We apologized for disturbing him. It's also important to note, there is no kitchen. So as long as you've read the listing well, you'll not be negatively surprised. There is a gas fireplace and ample closet space. The location was perfectly adjacent to downtown. Neighbors are literally right next door so you'll want to keep the curtains closed, but the area is so quaint. We would definitely stay again, just praying Bruce has moved on.

This was a great property for my family to stay at while we visited Franklin. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we had no issues at all. It's also within a neighborhood with easy parking, so we had no noisy major streets nearby, but we were close enough to everything that no excursion felt like a pilgrimage to get there. Management was very responsive and easy to work with, and we would absolutely book here again next time we're in town.

The property was in a wonderful spot in the charming town of Franklin. A nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood just 30 minutes from Nashville. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The property was everything we needed in a getaway. Perfect for a couples to relax and unwind. Will stay again!

Was an amazing place to stay for a bachelorette weekend!

This place was very comfortable. We loved the cozy couch and blankets. Everything was easy breezy and the host was great. We loved Franklin!

The best thing I can say about this property is that it was fairly clean and the heat worked. I found the accommodations to be quite odd. Closets were huge and useless. There was a single bathroom and a half bath, but be aware that there is no other sink or kitchenette. I also found the amenities to be cheap. My husband and I agreed that it felt as if the property owner looked at a checklist for amenities, commonly provided in a short term rental, and then picked the cheapest version of everything. Pillowcases and sheets were scratchy. Pillows and mattresses uncomfortable. There were thin blankets on the bed, despite extremely cold temperatures. The house had a single 1000 piece puzzle, but otherwise no options for any entertainment for a family with children. Luckily, we brought plenty of our own items. Given the many available options in this area, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The property management company was terrible. You have to go through a multiple step process and even though it was their verif app was not working and they would not let me in the house and made me stand out in the rain and was an hour late to my business event. Great place but the management company is ultra go by the book corporate with zero care about servicing the tenant.

Charming rental. Quick drive from the downtown area. Would have loved a kitchen and table…but if you are prepared to dine out during your stay, it’s not missed.

Second stay at this property and it works well for our needs. We have family in the neighborhood but their house is not large enough to easily accommodate overnight guests. It’s an easy walk to their home and downtown Franklin (which is a hallmark movie in real life!) Lodging is comfortable if you don’t need to cook. Check in and pre-registration process is extensive and all the signs warning of getting stains on their white towels can be a little off-putting (feels less hospitable/welcoming than other Vrbo properties we have rented) but they do make coffee and water available to guests which is a nice touch. Beds are comfortable and the home works fairly well for a disabled guest (zero entry and only one step from the living areas to bedroom areas).

The property was advertised as a short walk to downtown. 2 miles is not a short walk. The property was recently renovated and very clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We had back issues for several days. We left after the first day because of the distance and the bed issue and the owners refused a refund. We own property on VRBO and also rent often. The check in process is extremely arduous. You are almost treated like a criminal. You have to provide your ID and picture in the same photo. Any variation and they complain. They were responsive, however so we can give that.

The property was beautiful. Looks like it has just been remodeled. Can’t beat the location, close to all the restaurants and shopping in Franklin. Wish the weather had been cooler so we could have walked into town. Neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Check in and out process was easy. Would definitely come back!

We needed a place to babysit our 2 yo grandson while his parents attended a conference in Franklin. This place worked great - each had our own bedroom with plenty of space for him to run around inside and outside and a nice neighborhood for stroller walks. Also several nice parks with playgrounds and a terrific toddler playroom at the library. I hadn't noticed that there isn't an actual kitchen in the house so that was a bit tricky - but we managed fine with the mini-frig and microwave.
