Amazing location for a quick stop in Portland. Right next to Washington Park with its phenomenal Japanese Garden, rose garden, arboretum, etc. Walking distance to everything I needed. The host responded instantly to all my questions. Highly recommended.

The place and neighborhood are beautiful! Had an amazing time with my young daughter and enjoyed being so close to Washington Park and the playground. The Host was wonderful and very communicative, highly recommended.

It was nice and quiet. The best feature was how close it is to walk to Washington Park. It was a little odd that the bathroom was carpeted, but that is just a personal preference. The property manager was easily accessible when I had questions. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Great neighborhood

The property was as listed. It was very clean and adequate for our experience. We went to Portland to visit family so location was important. We could walk to the Alphabet district and did so. If there was one negative it was the quality of the WiFi. We couldn’t stream TV because the WiFi was too slow. We only tried one evening tho. Communication with the owner was excellent. She answered all my questions quickly. I would stay here again.

Location was excellent for those of us who like city walking. Grocery, restaurants, shops all close by but folks with mobility issues would have a hard time with the hill this home is built on. For Uber riders, it's just fine. Host is thoughtful. Room is clean. Japanese and rose gardens are one block away and are beautiful.

The property was well maintained. It wasnt far to walk to get downtown and the waterfront. We were very lucky to be able to park in the driveway, but there were spaces to park on the street as well. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was very clean. We enjoyed it very much.

The location was perfect! The apartment was small, quaint, and exactly what my family needed for a long weekend in portland.

This place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed as a homebase to explore Portland. I walked over 15 miles to check out the parks and multiple areas in the city. Everything was easy to get to and at the end of the day this cozy little place was so relaxing. Highly recommend if you’re coming into the city and want to check out all it has to offer.

The property is well maintained and located close to tourist sights. Very hilly but public transport is close by. Cel tower signal is weak and during our stay we could not access their wifi. We connected to the internet by doing so in areas with better reception.

Nice place

Perfect place for a couple visiting Goose Hollow. Walking distance to Washington Park and the Rose Garden as well as great restaurants and breakfast spots. Miyoko was an excellent host; she was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The back patio was nice for a glass of wine in the evening. On street parking was not an issue (just be sure to ask Miyoko to obtain a permit).

My 9 y.o. and husband and I had a nice time in this sweet small rental. We did not realize how petite the accommodations would be, but it suited us fine.The neighborhood was incredibly beautiful and so close to the park and good bus lines.

Very nice place for exploring Portland and great place for wonderful walks.

Everything was great, but the only thing I had a problem with was the wi fi. It was so slow that I couldn't check my work email or even watch a movie on the TV. But aside from that, it was fine.

Even though I didn't get to stay to long during the day because of work, it was so nice coming in at night to rest and waking up with the sun through the beautiful bedroom window. I really enjoyed my stay!

Love the location. Easy to get to 23rd and downtown. Nice to have Zupans grocery store and coffee shops nearby. The apartment was very easy to function in. Very clean with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. Will most likely end up staying again.

We have stayed here many times. We just love it. The apartment has just what we need for a short stay. There are no stairs so it works well for less mobile folks. Miyoko is a sweetheart. She is a wonderfully welcoming and responsive host.

The property has a great location, being right next to Washington Park and close to major transit lines. The property owner/manager is very friendly and communicative. The rooms themselves are sort of underground and dark, but guests have access to an outdoors patio. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property for folks who are mainly looking for a place to sleep at night. It would be less good of a fit for folks planning to spend a lot of time chilling indoors.

What a wonderful stay! Felt very comfortable and safe in a big city! Enjoyed the art and home decor here. This apartment looks great with much attention to detail. Very clean and well-cared for. The location is ideal. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, my favorites being Thai Bloom (excellent curry dish), Fish and Rice (great sushi), and Kizuki Ramen (wonderful chicken ramen). Just up a block or so is Washington Park, which in certain locations has a free shuttle to take you anywhere in the park. All free rides to the Oregon Zoo, Japanese Garden, Rose Tea Garden, and Hoyt Arboretum. I'm a hiker, and I can say this: Hoyt Arboretum's Redwood Trail is one of the most beautiful trails I have hiked! Perfect place, perfect location.

Wonderfully clean and equipped with only the things we need. Location was convenient to grocery store, restaurants, and Trimet route. We'll stay there again.

Room was large and comfortable. Location is great. Really a gem. Only wish they had regular tv to watch the news!!!

We had the best time at Miyoko’s home. It was such a relaxing nest for a couple days of exploring Portland. The park a block from the house is gorgeous - definitely take a morning to explore it (we did so by Lime scooter!). 23rd St and surrounding areas are fun to explore. We like exploring neighborhoods on the east side and downtown, too, but it was so easy to get around by scooter, Uber, or bus. Miyoko was helpful with parking our car, too, overall, exactly as advertised, and delightful!

This was an excellent place to stay in Portland. Very clean and a nice and quiet neighborhood. It was close to walking paths in Washington Park and all the sights of the park - Japanese Gardens, Rose Garden, etc. The apartment was spotless, and Miyoko was friendly and helpful. We recommend it without reservations

Miyoko was an amazing host! We had some issues with a parking permit but she was gracious in helping us out. I am a little sad i didnt get to meet the pup though. 10 out of 10.
