We had a nice 2-day stay at the farmhouse and were able to meet up with a few friends in the area during our stay. The horses from the bedroom window was a beautiful site.

The scenery surrounding Alpine Ranch Farmhouse is simply stunning. The house itself is cozy yet spacious. The fireplace adds to the home’s welcoming ambiance. We only used one of the beds, but it was oh so comfortable. A magical experience!

The farmhouse and property exceeded our expectations. We loved the setting and location. The primary bed was super comfortable and the living room had high quality furnishings to provide a comfortable stay. We ate dinner at Salt & Stone in Kenwood one of the nights and absolutely recommend. The location of the farmhouse is really ideal and convenient to so many places. Our host Caroline was wonderful to work with and communication and the guidebook were excellent. Thank you again!

Adorable little ranch. Private and quiet. Shared shower, but an extra half bath in one of the bedrooms. Great communication. Easy to get in and leave. Was perfect for our needs.

Well located, cute home adjacent to a working horse farm. It was a great base for our day trips to the redwood forest, rocky pacific coast and the wineries in Sonoma, Napa, etc. We enjoyed our stay!

The property is in a great location. Short/easy drives in several directions to the great vineyards/wine tastings in the area. We loved watching the horses next door. We will return when we’re back in this area!

The farmhouse is rustic, clean, and cozy with everything we needed. The mini split ACs were very welcome since our stay was during an excessive heat wave. The evenings were lovely and cool and we enjoyed dinners on the deck with the sounds of nature around us. Ron was very helpful with the few glitches we had and we appreciated his kindness and patience We enjoyed our time in Sonoma and were happy to find the ranch to spend our time at

Alpine Ranch Farmhouse is aptly named. It is charmingly rustic, clean, and cozy with amenities as described. We were thankful for the mini split room ACs as we arrived in a heat wave. However, cooler temperatures in the evenings allowed us to open the ample windows to experience cool breezes throughout the night and birdsong in the mornings. The property is home to gardens filled with various fruit trees, grapevines, and flowering shrubs that attract a flock of hummingbirds. It's also surrounded by a working horse ranch which was fun to observe. Various outdoor seating areas provide a chance to sit and relax and experience nature. While it feels like one is in a remote setting, stores and shops are just a few minutes away, and beautiful wineries abound in the area. The host is an excellent communicator, providing a detailed electronic guestbook that is full of information about the property and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay as I'm sure future guests will.

Great location for wine tours. Very nice being on a horse farm vs busy town. Only 3 mile drive to a few restaurants and grocery stores. Very big yard and fun outdoor eating space. Only 15 minute drive up the mountain to Pride Family winery and 15 minutes the opposite direction to Calistoga where we visited Sterling, Clos Pegase and Frank Family winery. All great wineries.
