Hammond is located within the Tangipahoa Parish in Louisiana. This city is located approximately 45 miles East of Baton Rouge and 45 miles Northwest of New Orleans. Hammond is the principal city of the Hammond Metro Statistical Area. The population here as of 2016 was just under 21,000. Hammond is approximately 14 square miles in size. All students that attend any of these schools are required to wear a uniform. There are also two catholic schools here in Hammond. There is Holy Ghost Catholic School for students in pre-k through eighth grade. Then there is Saint Thomas Aquinas High School for students in grades nine through twelve.
