Perhaps the iconic city landmark is the Florida Citrus Tower which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2016. The Citrus Tower is a 226-foot-tall structure that was built to allow visitors an observation point for the miles and miles of orange groves that surround it. This has the claim to fame of being the highest observation point in the state of Florida.

Another popular Clermont attraction is the Presidential Hall of Fame, located directly adjacent to the Florida Citrus Tower. The hall is a wax museum which pays tribute to the entire line of presidents who have served the country. Included is a full scale replica of the actual White House interior.

The crown jewel of the city’s thriving arts and culture scene is the Clermont Performing Arts Center. This multi-purpose facility features the main stage which seats 1200, making it the largest in Lake County. It also has the Black Box Theatre which plays host to its regular Clermont comedy series.
