Visitors may to walk over the estate to join public footpaths along the River Barle as it flows from Simonsbath towards Landacre Bridge and the village of Withypool.brbrWe are approximately one hour's drive from the beautiful surfing beaches of North Devon - Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough. A great day out.brSailing and water activities are available at Wimbleball Lake.brbrDogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). We do ask please do not allow them on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. If they do cause any damage there will be a charge, thank you for your cooperation. Please keep them on a lead when taking them through the farm and fields. Thank you.brbrIndoor DescriptionbrThe large very well equipped kitchen is in the centre of the house - it is an 'eat-in' kitchen with an AGA- style stove, plus electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, full-height fridge and a breakfast table. There is a large utility room with a further American-style fridge/freezer (full height side by side fridge and freezer sections), so there is plenty of space for storing food for a large group. In the utility room there is also a washing machine and separate tumble dryer (plus a ceiling mounted drying rack and an external clothes airer - should the weather permit for drying clothes outside!). brbrAdjacent to the farmhouse kitchen is the formal dining room which is ideal for those special dining occasions. brbrThere are number of very comfortable reception rooms, one with a grand piano as well as a separate television room. There is a large well equipped games room and a sunny conservatory with French doors leading outsidebrbrThere are five bedrooms; 3 are double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (two of which have their own dressing room areas), plus there are two twin rooms which share a fourth bathroom.brOne of the en-suite double bedrooms is on the ground floor with level access.brbrElectricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Honeymead Farmhouse has central heating fitted throughout, which can be adjusted to suit your preferences. There is also a wood-burning fire in the sitting room. Logs, kindling and matches will be provided.brbrBed linen and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them on day trips with you.brbrTea, coffee and sugar will be provided for arrival.
