This is our Shrewsbury base for some of the year.brbrIt is stylishly decorated with comfortable furnishings, great bedrooms, and a kitchen. We like AV technology so it has LED mood lighting and a 70 Samsung Smart Television.brFeel a sense of open space when you see the dramatic vaulted ceiling in the sitting room.brShrewsbury is a beautiful town and we're sure our apartment will be a perfect place to base yourselves.brbrThe spacebrAs we did, when we first saw the interior, we hope you too will have that 'wow factor'.brThe apartment is located on the second floor up by steps to the entrance. The main entrance door leads you into the main living space which feels so spacious due to the 4 metre high vaulted ceiling.brWe have installed LED atmospheric lighting which sits just above the wall panelling and uplights the ceiling as you'll see from the photos. It looks fantastic at night.brbrThere's comfortable seating for 4 guests across from a superb 70-inch Samsung Smart TV with a soundbar below for relaxing after a day exploring.brbrBehind the seating area is an elegant marble and chrome table with 6 chairs. Great for sharing meals in lovely surroundings or a fabulous space to work from.brbrNo need for curtains here, electric blinds close over the sitting room windows for those cozy nights in.brbrA doorway leads into a double bedroom with a relaxing bed and storage space. You have a great street view from the window.brbrUp the staircase to the first floor where we have a seated area and another door to the main bedroom which has a fantastic king bed, stylish dressing table, and storage.brbrWalk into the hallway which branches off to the bathroom. This has a double-sized enclosed glass shower with Victorian overhead and separate handheld fittings, a large sink, WC, and heated towel rail. There's also plenty of storage for your toiletries.brbrA couple of steps further down the hall is our stylish kitchen with dark grey units and real wood worktops. The room is lovely and bright and has under-unit lighting. We have an induction hob, electric oven, and combination microwave oven. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Dragonfly Lodge is a wonderful dwelling for families in Shropshire. For those who enjoy hiking and spotting wildlife, The Long Mynd is a great place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. With over 600 listed buildings, Shrewsbury is one of England's best-preserved historic towns nestled on the banks of the River Severn. Admire Shrewsbury's beautiful cobbled alleyways and squares as well as its numerous festivals, such as the Shrewsbury Summer Season.
