The house belongs to a formerly large-scale courtyard, which with its independent character has shaped the rural image of the holiday island. Parts of the courtyard were demolished in the 1970s and replaced by new buildings that were visually adapted to the rural style. The house was restored with great attention to detail in 2012/13 and further upgraded in 2017/18. This has resulted in a real rarity.brbrThe large amount of valuable old building fabric that still exists makes the house a special place. Purely aesthetically in accordance with traditional Fehmarn building culture, it is a one-storey, nine-axis, wide building with a dwarf house and a full hull in largely original brick and traditional clay pan.
