It has been updated sympathetically ,maintaining many of its original 1960's decore and features, with a contemporary twist. Ceiling and wall fans have just been installed for cool comfort. Note that the property is not airconditioned and the kitchens do not have dishwashers. If you want to stay in a clean and well presented roomy rustic older style 1960's beach house with many of the original features of that era in a fantastic eastern beachside location, then our property will fit the bill.brbrStraddie is a pristine wilderness and there is plenty of wildlife you will have a good chance of seeing in or near our house such a kangaroos, koalas, plovers, curlews, kookaburas and many different types of honeyeaters. In the ocean, whales, dolphins, turtles, stingrays, many different types of fish and coral. The snorkelling is good as the water is so clear. Being one of Queensland's premier holiday locations, Straddie can become busy with holiday makers during the school holiday periods.
