Both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Parks offer fabulous walks, plus the beautiful Wye Valley is also within reach. As well as wonderful hikes, the area offers many other outdoor activities, some within only a mile of the property. For example kayaking, gorge walking, climbing and clay pigeon shooting to name a few. Cycling both on and off-road is popular and we are located on the National Cycle Route number 8. Llangorse Lake is a 6 mile drive away and offers some peaceful water activities, plus you will find a fabulous indoor climbing centre offering climbing walls, bouldering and zip wire experiences. There are a number of horse-riding centres close by, offering fantastic treks up onto the hills for all abilities to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
