The Nant is a beautifully renovated traditional stone cottage with retained original features, offering sea views from nearly every room.  Set in a unique spot down a narrow unmade lane overlooking Abereiddy Bay, the surrounding grounds add to the magic of this calm and secret place.  Hidden benches offer lovely spots to relax, admire the view, listen to the birdsong and the babbling stream that gives the cottage its name.  Alongside the stream, as it flows from a spring into a pond and then down the cwm to the sea, is a footpath giving direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and beach.Step into the sitting/dining room with exposed beams and wooden floor, beautifully and simply furnished; the wood burning stove ensures a cosy feel even on the chilliest of evenings. There’s a dining table with a much-coveted window seat, a traditional dresser with plenty of crockery and lots of board games, and a flat-screen TV and Sonos speaker. WiFi is available throughout the cottage. The cottage is ideal for walkers as Aberfelin Bay leads on to the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Porthgain one way with its slate mine and re-nowned Sloop Inn, then on to the picturesque Abereiddy Beach and Blue Lagoon or head the other way to Abercastle, used by the local fishermen to moor their boats. One of two properties set down a narrow vehicular track they share a drive and parking, but each have its own private secluded garden. Caerau Isaf is a characterful holiday home of great charm, with beams and wooden floors. Blackberry Cottage is a superb traditional stone cottage with a modern twist set in the heart of Upper Solva above this picturesque harbour and just yards from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  Both the Coastal Path and the water are about two minutes’ walk from the front door!Deceptively spacious, the cottage has been recently renovated and extended to give a clever mix of traditional and modern living, comfortably furnished throughout to a high standard, with tiled and wooden floors throughout. The glazed porch leads through to the cottage style sitting room complete with beams, leather sofas and wood burning stove to cosy around. The spacious kitchen/diner has a super oak fitted kitchen with a rangemaster, perfect for keen chefs, while the dining area opens to a walled sunken patio area, extending the living space further and allowing sheltered alfresco dining. There is also a handy practical wet room and utility room. Stairs lead up to first floor bedrooms nestling in the eaves (one room with king size bed and one room with double bed which can be unlinked into twin beds), while from the landing a walkthrough reading nook with armchair and day bed leads through to the modern second sitting room. This second sitting room offers a complete modern contrast with its glass floor to ceiling gable end wall, ensuring a light and airy space where you can relax and admire the views over the garden. There is a second wood burning stove here for those chillier evenings. Dating back to the 18th century, original features have been retained with exposed stone walls and beams throughout.Comfortably furnished, one step leads into the welcoming sitting room, its wood burning stove ensures a cosy feel on the chilliest of evenings. The cottage style fitted kitchen/diner is well-equipped. A step from the sitting room leads to a characterful rear hallway where a feature fire place, part of the original cottage, has been retained. A door opens to your own, enclosed patio, south facing and a super spot to dine alfresco with uneven steps leading up to a raised lawn area, but care is needed as the drop is unfenced. The newly refurbished shower room is up 2 steps from the hall and open cottage stairs lead to the pretty bedrooms above with rural views.
