Optional bedding and showering towel service, bicycle and kayak rentals and fire wood is available for purchase, please inquire.brbrNumber of Persons Using the Cottage: The number of persons present overnight and during the day on the property shall not exceed the number of guests (adults and children) listed on the rental agreement, maximum guest occupancy is 8. Renters who exceed the agreed to paid guest numbers or cottage maximum number of 8 will be subject to an additional nightly charge of $100 per person per night. brbrNon-smoking Cottage: Under no circumstances is smoking permitted inside the cottage at any time. Smoking is permitted outside the cottage and you and your guests are fully responsible for the proper disposal of all cigarette butts and/or cigar filters. There is a $100 cleanup fee for cigarette or cigar butts found in the yard after check-out. Renters found to have smoked in the cottage at anytime shall be subject to immediate eviction without a refund including the additional security deposit.br brPets: Maximum of 2 pets are permitted with payment of the flat pet guest fee. Please note: The cottage is thoroughly cleaned before all arrivals, but we are not responsible for conditions that may arise from pet allergies due to previous guests with pets. Guide your dog in treating our fellow creatures with respect. DE-SKUNKER in tool shed. Please clean up poop before you leave best possibly can. There is a porcupine that sometimes wanders by at dusk, so we usually leash dogs around then.brbrGARDEN Many a wonderful meal has been made here in our simple cabins.please use herbs and vegetables freely! watering cans are beside garden if it looks dry. brbrFOREST  Path to forest is behind Expedition Hut. If you ever get lost in forest just follow the sound of water and you’ll reach civilization. Unless there’s no wind, of course. You’re never far.  We don’t have formal trails, we love the mystery of the deer trails. You see much more.brbrSWIMMING Our shoreline is beautiful limestone plains and some bouldered areas.You can go straight out from the shore where it is flat. We keep a bristle broom there to create a safe path out. It is worth it - the water is beautiful. Families sometimes spend the whole day in water. You can also swim from the point - get into deep water faster. Feel the water come from three directions at the tip! VERY SLIPPERY SHORELINE!!! wear water shoes but still be VERY careful! ALTERNATIVELY There is a wonderful sandy beach (public) in nearby Providence Bay which you can walk, bike or drive to.brbrWOODSTOVE ASHES - put in 'ash' bin behind log cabin. never on land or garden.brbrFIREPITS These should only be used when no wind at all and never left alone! Dowse with bucket of water after. Use ‘campfire wood’ that is outside near main firepit rather than wood in woodshed if you can. Woodshed wood is best for inside use as it is hardwood and no sap to start chimney fires. Campfires are great to burning up scrap wood, sappy wood, brush excessbrbrPARKING We suggest parking away from cabins so views remains chrome-free. brbrNO SMOKING! Prefer none, but outdoors only if you do. Please put butts in a jar. Butt-leavers will find themselves without one.brbrOUTDOOR TOILETS  Each cabin has their own. ‘En-suite’ so-to-speak or should we say ‘out-suite’. They are pumped out regularly every two weeksbrbrBUGS  We are blessed with soft winds most of the time which keeps things cool and the bugs down.
