It is an 1,100 sq ft cabin which will sleep up to 9 guests, but also perfect for smaller groups and even couples. brEnjoy a peaceful getaway while overlooking the cool, clear water of Mountain Fork River. Our area also has two golf courses, one at Cedar Creek at the lake and one at Idabel Country Club, both about 25 minutes away. brUp north in Hochatown (about a 20-25 minute drive) you'll find a ton of dining options, hiking, shopping, go carts, rentals for ATVs and jeeps and boats, a petting zoo and safari, fishing guides, bowling and zip lines. There are also several wineries and breweries to visit.brWant to relax Contact one of our local spas or get an in-cabin massage from one of our area's traveling therapists. brWe also have the Red River Museum in Idabel and the wildlife museum in Hochatown.brFor longer float options, we have several kayak rentals in our area. One of which is Wild Goose Kayak Rentals, located just a couple minutes from the cabin.brbrPETSbrKingfisher is pet friendly for up to two dogs with a $100 pet fee. Please don't forget to include your pets in the reservation.brbrRIVER ACCESSbrYes, you can swim and fish in the river! There are also kayaks for you to use on site. brThe water is the perfect depth to enjoy swimming or a floatie! However, the river level does fluctuate depending on the release schedule of the Corp of Engineers. We have no way to predict the water levels. The release is dependent upon the amount of rain we receive and how much electricity needs to be produced. The lowest levels are generally in July and August.brbrRULESbrPlease read the rental agreement carefully. It basically states you won’t sue us and the pet fee will be deducted from your security deposit if you don’t pay it. The security deposit is a hold placed on the credit card on file, not an actual charge. It will be released after your check out when no damage is caused to the property.
