It was rebuilt in a hurry much like most of the Jelly Bean Row townhouses. Near identical in design and materials to most of the restaurants and bars in the area, including lots of ballast rock/bricks, solid wood beams and lumber from old ships in the harbour. The owner has recently upgraded and exposed some original chimneys in the bathrooms and spare rooms and the entire house was renovated top to bottom a little over 13 years ago. The house is located downtown in the heart of St. John’s, and couldn’t possibly be closer to George Street unless you’re sleeping on top of a bar.brbrWhen you enter the home you are greeted with a warm, large, open concept kitchen/living/dining room which is fully equipped to handle all of your needs during your stay. brbrThe kitchen has all the appliances you will need, as well as several amenities you will find useful during your stay such as, coffee, tea, bottled water, juice, cookies, chocolates, and special additions for longer stays. All cookware, dishware, and utensils are onsite and free to use for guests.brbrTheir is a laundry area off the back of the kitchen which guests are free to use during their stay.
